Post Road Pumpkin Ale is a revival of a beer brewed by the early American colonists. Pumpkins were plentiful, flavorful and nutritious and they blended nicely with barley malt. Hundreds of pumpkins are blended into each batch of Post Road Pumpkin Ale, creating a beer with an orange amber color, warm pumpkin aroma, biscuity malt center and crisp finish. Post Road Pumpkin Ale is spiced with cinnamon and nutmeg.

Pours medium amber with white head. Aroma of pumpkin, allspice, mace, and nutmeg. Immediate flavor weakly reflects the aroma, followed by a mild hop bitterness, with a dry malt finish that seems out of place. Thin mouthfeel, lightly carbonated. Rather bland-tasting beer, though the aroma is promising at the start.

12oz bottle 12/18/15 (Total Wine-Tampa)-Pours orange with a small white head. Aroma of pumpkin and spices. Taste of the same. This light to medium brew was not bad but was expecting more since coming from Brooklyn. A bit lacking.

V pleasant sweet caramel malt/nutmeg/sweet potato nose, hint of chestnut purée/cinnamon/spice. In the mouth, yeast bun + a hint of chestnut. Neutral finish; little bit of cinnamon.

From El Corte Ingles, 75th anniversary feria. In Teku glass. After dinner. Correct but the pumpkin is noticeable and it is a flavour i cant end up liking, although this beer has some bitterness that compesates it. Low on foam although a bit persist until the end

No hay mucho que decir. Después de un trago bastante industrial queda un ligero dulzor de calabaza. Sin más.

Keg at BD Mighty Boosh, 19/05/16. Clear golden with a well appointed off White head. Nose is carrot cake, clove, pumpkin esters, light spice, straw. Taste is on the thin side, faint pumpkin pie, light nutmeg, straw, earthy fruit, rather muted all told. Medium bodied, soft velvety mouthfeel, light bittersweet close. Pretty average stuff for the pumpkin scene ... doesn’t deliver a great deal but fat from offensive.
