Post Road Pumpkin Ale is a revival of a beer brewed by the early American colonists. Pumpkins were plentiful, flavorful and nutritious and they blended nicely with barley malt. Hundreds of pumpkins are blended into each batch of Post Road Pumpkin Ale, creating a beer with an orange amber color, warm pumpkin aroma, biscuity malt center and crisp finish. Post Road Pumpkin Ale is spiced with cinnamon and nutmeg.

Pours amber with a creme colored head. Spicy, strong aroma but a balanced malty and hop taste. Flavor could have used some more spices for a pumpkin ale but went done easily. Good beer for 50% off due to the chronological distance from October.

Sampled at Northgate Tasting. Not that good of a pumpkin ale. There is better out there to be had.

Poured from a 330cc bottle. Colour is clear orange/copper with a white head. Aroma is spices with a hint of pumpkin. Flavour is brittle pumpkin and cinnamon. Not much depth here. Thin mouthfeel.

Pours a deep orange/red with a white head that lasts a while. Smells of cinnamon spices and a hint of pumpkin. Quite a metallic taste with just the slightest hint of pumpkin. Long carbonation effect. Not a great beer but not terrible either.

Overall this is a very good pumpkin beer. Filtered and clear with a great orange bronze color. The clarity is excellent. The flavor is slightly steely and metallic, but the pumpkin overtones are nice and mellow without being overbearing. One of my favorite pumpkin beers.

355ml bottle. Pours a clear, copper/orange with a thin, ring head. Aroma has some nice notes of pumpkin, spice, caramel, bread, and traditional hops. Taste is balanced. Traditional hopped with mild pumpkin and spice. Medium body and carbonation. Clean and refreshing in the mouth with a slightly dry finish. Overall more beer flavour that pumpkin but still pretty good. Would drink again for sure.

Not particularly memorable. Light in color; didn't pick up any specific notes in the aroma. All in all, it was just okay. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

33 cl bottle, Calgary, AB, Canada. Clear light amber, bready clove aroma. Mild flavour, more clove and a metallic finish. Not offensive but there are far better pumpkin ales out there.

Pours a deep orange with white head. Aroma is cinnamon, pumpkin, nutmeg, bread, wheat, faint hop, candied fruit. Flavor is semi sweet, cinnamon, light sticky pine hop finish. Medium body, ok pumpkin

Bottle into a frosted mug. Pours a cloudy orange with hardly any head, aroma of IPA with a slight bit of spice, taste about the same. Smooth. Taste like a mild IPA with a slight nutmeg or cinnamon spice to it but no pumpkin flavor at all. Better pumpkin beers out there but i have to try them all lol. Luckily I can do the mix and match at ABC
