Body is a straw yellow with a small white head. Aroma of grass and hay with a sweetness to it. Taste was the same really. Not exciting or complex but an average taste. Goes down easy.

Bierkrug (2108) - Garmisch-Partenkirchen (In USA), Bavaria, GERMANY - OCT 16, 2010
500 ml botttle in Germany. Pours a clear golden color with a very full head. Lot of carb action in this one. Aroma is malt carmel and citrus. Taste is a sweet and very mellow malt with hints of sweet water. The palate is so mellow that you have to really think about what it is. Slightly bitter end but very mellow stuff. This is a very drinkable beer. It goes dow very easy. It lacks some character but is in interesting beer.

(bottle) Clear, golden colour with a blond and dense foamy head. Biscuity cara-malty aroma with a delicate touch of herbal and spicy hops. Moderately sweet flavour with a tinge of bitterness, medium to light bodied with a calm carbonation. Hearty (cara-)malty base with notes of biscuits and traces of honey; sweet and shy bitter malt-accented finish with notes of herbal hops. Typical Festmärzen, being inoffensive and wanting to please everyone. 21.IX.10
