Bierkrug (1919) - Idar-Oberstein (In Iraq), Rhineland-Palatinate, - JAN 8, 2011

500 ml bottle in Germany, This is their Fall Marzen. They also have a fall Helles. Normal golden color. Nice white head, nice normal Marzen aroma. Not as heavy as thier winter version. Palate is nice light and smooth.

Clear golden colour. Fruitish hoppy aroma a good maltiness. Flavour is pleasant with fruitish hops, toasty like malt, bit sweetness and a good bitterness.

Bottle. Honey barley malt and grass aroma. Slightly hazy golden yellow color with nice head and moderate effervescence. Slightly sweet barley malt and moderately bitter herbal hops flavor. Very nice - hoppy for a Maerzen.
