UPDATED: APR 6, 2010 Bottle. Dark brown , clear and visibly quite carbonated, with a slim off-white head. Nice toasted malty aroma, with some caramel. Flavour is malty, nice light bitterness and some sweetness in the finish. Medium bodied and drinkable.

German wheat beer tends to be a delight, but not this time. Dark wheat beer with a bland smell of malt and yeast, the taste is also malty and boring. You could probably have guessed it on the bottle ugly with screw cap.

Sorry for the german rating, but this is a lousy rating from my "newbie" time (2007-2009), and it’s not worth of being translated. I just added it for the statistics, and to complete my backlog!

Test vom 14.10.2008, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 9,7,8,7,5,7 - 7,25

wunderbier (1434) - Tampere, FINLAND - MAR 30, 2008
Pours a deep, clear brown-red with a short and off-white frothy head. Malty aroma of dark bread and oatmeal, followed by toffee, dried herbs and honeycomb. Sweet and clean overall. Bready malt flavour with some light coffee sans roast bitterness. Clean, drying towards the end. Soft and herbal. Medium body, creamy texture, moderate carbonation. 50cl bottle, bbe 12/01/08, thanks Jukkabro.
