Flavour is a watery old coffee bitterness with some smoke and fruit.

Bottle bought at Slijterij Zeewijck in IJmuien. Deep brown color, huge tan head that last forever. Cloudy with almost no carbonation. Sweet malty aromas and dark bread. Lots of sweetness and malts in flavor, hints of citrus and butterscotch. A hint of smoke in the finish. A very descent dubbel.

Bottle:
Smell is bit hoppy, very fresh and sweet (not over the top).
Color is amber/dark.
Taste is very strong and alive. Hoppy and some darker malts. Nice aftertaste.

Bottle, with thanks to Pivnizub. Ruby, big golden lacing head, quite a few UFOs despite standing upright for weeks. Dry yeasty nose. Lightbodied, sparkly. Dry spicy start, watery middle, cider and dark sugar nose, belgian yeast, cherries retronasal. Quick finish. Falls a bit on its face.

Pours hazy amber with a thick, creamy, off-white head. Slightly faint aroma of caramel, malt and brown sugar. Flavor is quite sweet and dry, but not very outspoken. Very nice creamy, smooth sensation to the mouth. Bittersweet finish. Decent carbonation.
