Deep brown color, huge tan head that last forever. Cloudy with almost no carbonation. Sweet malty aromas and dark bread. Lots of sweetness and malts in flavor, hints of citrus and butterscotch. A hint of smoke in the finish. A very descent dubbel.

beautiful dark red color, large head. Aroma reminded me of spice, sweets and vanilla. A lot of bubbles when drinking this, a little soda like, which was a nice surprise. This is a very complex brew with a taste of nuts, fruits, malt and a quite hoppy aftertaste.. mmmm. very nice!

hazy amber color, fluffy long lasting head, round full aroma with some fruits an hop bitter, very nice smell of full natural ingredients,...a very good one!

Fantastic beer. BB feb 2007 so it has matured well.
Creamy off-white excellent fully lasting head. Dark red-amber colour. Heavy malty and moderate hopy aroma. Nutty notes. Moderate sweet light bitter flavor. Long complex finish. Creamy palate. Truly nice beer.

UPDATED: AUG 12, 2011 Beautiful dark brown color, slightly hazy. Medium creamy head, longlasting. Very good complex aroma of sweet malts, chocolate, raisins. Tastes almost the same as it smells. Creamy body. I really like this one!

Beautiful beer, but i expected more of it. Fruity taste, something bitter, but not much flavors.

Dark reddish brown coloured with big head. Spicy and malty. Full bodied. A classic well-crafted dubbel.

A great double. Malty and sweet. A nice bubbel, much more powerful than most other doubles I've tried.
