Clear dark amber to reddish brown beer, creamy, off-white to beige head, pretty stable, adhesive. Aroma: sweet malts, caramel, very fruity, sweet peaches, some strawberries, hops, bit spicy. MF: good carbon, medium body. Taste: sweet start, caramel, malts, bitter hops, some spices, fruity, strawberries, cherries. Aftertaste: bitter hops, some spices (liquorice). Very decent for a Postel beer.

Bottle 0,33ltr: Hazy brown coloured brew with an nice sweet spicy taste and some fine hints of caramel. Nice beer for the Christmas time, easy and good.

slight hints of caramel, nuts, resin, a ’cosy’ beer . brown, light sparkling, small white head. medium sweetness.

Bottled (as Postel Christmas, 9.0%) at Pressklubben, Stockholm. Cloudy mahogany colour, rocky head. Toasty vinous nose with figs and dark bread. Sweet and near full bodied with well rounded mouthfeel. Brown sugar on dried figs with some grassy hops atop. Light spicy bitterness with a bit of warming alcohol. A likeble, rather complex and warming beer, where my sampel alrady had matured a little.

Bottled. Hazy redbrown color, medium frothy off-white head. Aroma is spicy, malty, hints of port. Malty taste, quite spicy, slight alcoholic, quite fruity as well, sweet sugar cane. Ok stuff.

Bottle: Amber colored pour with medium sized head. Sweet, spicy, fruity aroma. Spicy, sweet finish. I enjoyed this.

Bottled. Aroma has caramel maltiness, dried fruits. Hazy, brown coloured with a lasting, off-white head. Taste is sweet, full. It has caramel malts, a hint of nuts, dried fruits, some yeast and spice. Really nice.
