Flavour starts sweet with a solid caramel malty note mixed with a slight herbal and spice note. Finish is a lingering spice note with a medium sweet spiced malt flavour.

Jan 13, 2003 Poured into a Postel chalice that accompanied the X-mas 4-pack. Big creamy tan head that endures, atop opaque red-brown body. Aroma is rich -- sweet, raisin, some spice/yeast and slight alcohol. Flavor is moderately sweet, raisiny, caramel. Slightly watery palate.
