Clear, golden body and minimal head. Aroma of hay, mango, yeast, sugar, alcohol. This makes a quite sweet beer, pretty sharp in the mouth at first. Light sourness later on. Not really my kid of trippel, I suppose. (Bottle 33cl, 2,25 eur)

Bottle. When popping the cap it slowly escapes the bottle, but nothing spilt. It has a clear, golden body with floaties and a big, diminishing off-white head. Fruity nose with white sugar and hints of cellar and spices. Medium to full body, warming, with flavors of fruits and white sugar. Quite sweet. Warming finish with nice bitterness. A beer that drinks easy, but it’s too sweet. 100326

Vaiz (1847) - Den Haag, NETHERLANDS - APR 25, 2010
Bottle at home. Clear golden pour with a thick creamy white head that laces and quite some floaties. Aroma of spices, sugar, alcohol, fruits and rye. Flavor is sugary sweet with fruits and spices and going towards a more bitter alcoholic warming finish. Creamy syrupy texture and decent carbonation. Decent yet not very outstanding tripel.

Pours a bright golden yellow color. Aromas of hops, fruit, and a little yeast. Has a light fruit taste, with some yeasty notes, a touch of orange, and a good hop flavor.

Orange, UFOs, off-white cream. Light minerally yeast aroma, clementines. Dry and relatively lightbodied, sparkly mouthfeel. Estery and somewhat alcoholic initially, orangepeel, grass, light coriander. Quick finish. Mango aftertaste is somewhat redeeming.

Parket (521) - Bruges, BELGIUM - JAN 3, 2010
bottle, yellow colour with unstable white head. Smell: very fruity. Taste: bitter, sweet, fruity, coriander, alcohol. A bit boring tripel for me.

pivnizub (7022) - Bochum, Porúří, GERMANY - DEC 16, 2009
Bottle: Golden, hazy, visible carbonation, some floaties floating around; small firm creamy layer, faint traces of cellulose thinner in the fruity-grainy and alcoholic nose; solid sweet-bitter flavour, medium to full bodied; sweet fruity (lemons, oranges) finish with a little tartness and warming alcohol in the aftertaste. Warm and cozy, but quite characterless.....
