7 Sweet bacon aroma - welcome back, old friend!
4 Dark, no head
7 Very full taste, sweet bacony roast. Thatís what I like in a mild.
3 Slightly thin body, given how full the taste is, but itís not actually thin thin an an absolute sense. In fact, itís quite smooth.
13 Certainly very tasty and full. Always worth going back to.

Gravity at Cambridge Beer Festival 2010. Slightly red-black with a short head. Almost red wine-like grape scent. Nice mouthfeel. Sweet with some bitterness in there too. In the mouth, roasted nuts, vegetables and some liquorice. A bit thin.

This bottle made a suprise showing at my Imperial Stout tasting. Not quite in category, but a good local brew to start the night off. Pours black with ruby tints and little head. Nose is coffee and roast malt. Thin in the mouth but with a nice coffee character on the swallow. Very drinkable.
