Gravity cask at the Bedford Beer Festival. Black with a bit of off-white head. Aroma of salt liquorice and coal smoke. Slight tinge of burning plastic. Sharp sweet-sour taste. Sour aftertaste. Weak palette for a beer like this. Very odd and nothing to get excited about really.

Gravity at Ealing beer festival, deep dark brown with a thin crema, burnt treacle nose, roasty dry-sweet and bitter chocolate palate, faint wine and toffee-apple notes. Yummy!

Stillage at the Fullerians Beer Festival, Watford on 2 March 2013. Poured a murky brown. Horrible saccharine aroma, mixed with sulphurous notes. Flavours were similarly sugary, but muted by funk. This was not in good condition.

On cask @ Three Tuns, Dronfield - A deep black body, not much in the way of head, rather dull complexion. Heavy nose of red and black fruits, caramel and burnt sugar. Taste is heavy on the molasses and ripe fruits, very sweet and rich. Not too much to my taste, but okay nonetheless.

Cask at the Pembury Tavern, London - shared with Jack. Pours dark brown with a weak, tan foam head. Soured dark malt nose, some dark grapes...this beer is in bad shape. Very tangy flavor, enough to be undrinkable. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Tangy finish, more sour dark fruits and sour malts. Pretty wretched stuff. Quite obviously this beer is not as it should be. I canít believe the pub would serve it.

Strong greek yogurt finish. Medium body, somewhat rough condition. Overall, this wasnít on form. Unfortunate. I couldnít finish my half of this.
