3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
On cask @ Three Tuns, Dronfield - A deep black body, not much in the way of head, rather dull complexion. Heavy nose of red and black fruits, caramel and burnt sugar. Taste is heavy on the molasses and ripe fruits, very sweet and rich. Not too much to my taste, but okay nonetheless.

1.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Cask at the Pembury Tavern, London - shared with Jack. Pours dark brown with a weak, tan foam head. Soured dark malt nose, some dark grapes...this beer is in bad shape. Very tangy flavor, enough to be undrinkable. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Tangy finish, more sour dark fruits and sour malts. Pretty wretched stuff. Quite obviously this beer is not as it should be. I can’t believe the pub would serve it.

2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Cask @ The Pembury Tavern. The pour’s deep brown with a small head. The nose is chocolate, licorice, some red fruits. The taste is is heavily tangy fruits, raisin cookie. Mild chocolate. Strong greek yogurt finish. Medium body, somewhat rough condition. Overall, this wasn’t on form. Unfortunate. I couldn’t finish my half of this.
