Very standard Belgian blond beer. Not too good in itself, but it bring back memories from the nice food at ’Chéz Leon’ in Brussels where it is served,

Tap @ Chez Leon, Brussels.
Pours pale golden with a small, frothy, white head. Good lacing. Aroma is sweet, light pear, doughy, some yeast. High carbonation, okay dry mouthfeel. Flavour is mildly metallic, sweet, doughy, light apple. Fine light and mild bitter finish. A good beer to drink with good food. Too bad that the Chez Leon "food" was absolutely horrible!

On tap in Belguim at Chez Leon. Pours a clear yellow color with a very long lasting white head. A spicy and malty nose. The flavor is very smooth and nice; a smooth fluffy palate, malts, spicy and yeasty. some citrus. Very Nice.

Clear golden colour with an average white head. Spices and some malt in the aroma. Medium sweetness and some hops in the taste, very drinkable. It might get a bit flat at the end. Light body, average carbonation. Short after taste. Overall, good to have with the mussels.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Has a dry hoppy aroma with some vague grain notes. Has a decent solid head and a normal gold lager colour. Taste is lots of bread and grain, with a dry finish. Nothing interesting, but it has a reliable lager taste.

(Bottled, 6.5% ABV, "Bière Leon") Hazy golden with a small, firm and lightly lacy head. Aroma of pilsener-herby hops, some acidic pale maltiness, pear fruitiness. Flavor is honey-malty, orange-lime-fruity, somewhat acidic, lightly sour and cardboardy, herby-hoppy with a decent hop bite in the finish. Medium body, slightly fizzy carbonation. 4445
