Just a standard old style beer from way back. Light color and taste. Hasnít got a lot going on with it, but that is part of what makes it great.

Bottle. Buttery toffee malt and straw aroma. Hazy golden yellow with moderate head. Moderately sweet butterscotch toffee malt and mildly bitter hay flavor. Good body. Decent.

Bottle from mix pack, pours a light clear gold with a bubbly head, the aroma and flavor is both light and pretty much nothing is there, a tick is a tick

Pour is a clear yellow with almost no head. Aroma Is almost non-existent. Maybe some malt. Flavor is completely watery and almost devoid of any malt or hops. This was the most boring and flavorless beer Iíve had in a long time.

12 oz bottle from a friend. Straw colored appearance with a small white head, full dissipating. Mild aroma of toasted grains, light floral notes and light citrus hops. Similar flavor, mild, lightly sweet and pretty bland overall. Light body with a soft feel. Slightly better than most domestic stuff.

Bottle. Grainy aroma. Medium gold color with slight opaqueness; quickly dissipating white head with no lacing. Thin, grainy malt flavor upfront with some grassiness and little bitterness. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

[Bottle] Dirty yellow in color with a fizzy white head on top. Nose of hay, adjuncts and cereal grains. Grass, paper, grains and some floral notes in the flavor. Thin and watery. Corn syrup notes come through as it warms. Tasting notes from 8/2014.

Bottle - pale yellow color, medium size foamy head, light and balanced overall, fuller bodied than expected by looking at it, not much too it but not bad ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

This one poured an amber yellow with a shortlived head. Aroma was slightly bready. Malt note was cereal with a slight nutty component. Hops were balanced and of an herbal nature. Good session brew.

Without looking it up, Iíd probably say this was a lager. It is a lightly flavored and mildly sweet beer w/ a hazy golden color and a small head. I am not sure if the bottle I got is old or if itís by design but there is a nutty note that makes me think oxidation. It is actually a rather pleasant flavor and not bitter or metallic so Iíll just give them the benefit of the doubt. While nothing about this strikes me as particularly exception, it is a beer that succeeds at what it seems to be drying to be which is a light, lager-like ale.
