3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
12 oz. bottle. Floral, dry aroma features champagne, grapefruit, tangerine, apricot, and buttery biscuit. Pleasant, noble hops smell. Pours a slightly hazy straw color with a moderate amount of slow-rising bubbles and a moderate amount of off-white head. Dry taste features lemon, a touch of butter (but not in a bad way), red apple, pancake batter, and shortbread cookie flavors. Buttery and crisp in the solid lager palate. Enjoyable but subtle overall; better than I expected.

Bottle. Clear, very pale straw color, no head at all. Crisp and light with some lager notes. Easy and refreshing.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Very pale yellow with a quick diminishing head to nothing.Good carbonation Faint.sweet malt aroma with faint floral.Smooth mouthfeel crisp bite, with some yeast esters.More bittering would match the sweet malt taste, i notice more yeast flavor as it warms.Better drank cold and thirsty, good summer beer though.

0.5 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 1/20
Very light with a strange smokey aroma (infection?) Too many esters to be a Pilsner-style as much more ale like. Bland.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
On draught at the brewery/brewpub in Potosi, Wisconsin. Pours a clear golden straw brew with a creamy white head that slowly dissipates to a thin white ring and leaves behind some spotty lacing. Aroma of golden grain barley malt, some saaz hop character, a hint of fruit and a touch of pils yeast. Taste is light bodied, crisp, with flavors of golden grain malt, a hint of citrus zest, some pear/fruit and some light spice. Finish is light, fruity at first and then a crisp, clean cut aftertaste with just a hint of bitterness. A nice summer light pils with plenty of character.
