Bottle. Very weak aroma. Outstanding redbrown color with a sturdy, creamy head. Flavor is unique. Tastes like malt, dirt, wood, a bit like berries. Alcohol is very evident. Lingers in the mouth forever. Not bad at all.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
11.2 oz bottle. Pours a clear light brown body with a very large frothy light beige head that slowly settled. The nose is lightly chocolaty and roasty with a good bit of Belgian Yeast. A light note of alcohol as well. It’s main flavor profile can only be described in a generic word, "Belgian". Fizzy, frothy, fruity, and yeasty. The hallmark of generic Belgian beers. There’s a light chocolaty undertone to the flavor, but it’s mostly that melange of Belgian fruitiness of raisin and plum that makes up the heart of it. Sort of a cross between a Belgian Porter and a Dubbel. OK, but not a beer worth a second purchase.

Served on draft at Mekong in Richmond, VA. Pours a clear copper color with a large creamy head. Good head retention and lacing. Fruity aroma with notes of berries, apples, some maple notes and a bit of paint thinner. The taste is green apples, berries, maple, green bananas, brown sugar and a bit of a chemical note. Medium bodied. Weird, odd and disjointed.
