Clear amber with medium off white head. Sweet fruity aroma with caramel and bready notes. Sweet flavor with notes of bread, caramel and malt. Ends sweet.

Sep 11, 2008 33cl flip-top bottle bought in Germany. Opened very lively, poured deep red-amber with a thick yeasty-looking head. Malty and floral aroma. Nutty and slightly chocolatey body with hints of raisins, it’s thinner bodied than the flavour initially made me expect, though. Bitter-sweet finish. A very pleasant German equivalent to a British best bitter, or thereabouts.

Jul 30, 2008 Bottle. Malty smell of fresh bread, light yeasty. Small off-white creamy head rather fast disappearing; red body.
Bitter taste, medium duration. Rather flat carbonation, light to medium body, dry and light creamy texture.

Aroma: Pretty malty. Berries. Roasted hops.
Taste: Malty, bitter. Long, bitter aftertaste. Smooth, though.
