2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
33cl fliptop bb08/2014, local courtoisie de idiosynkrasie. Pours solid hay and grainy gold, big-poured head. Immediate grainy and harsher green floral hop aromas, along with an edge of cereal and "fresh" cardboard. Mouthfeel is rather "sturdy" for a Pilsner, grain-heavy, but with character, topped off once again with quite pronounced, but not so elegant grassy hops. Drinks easy enough, but would be too harsh as my sessioner of choice. Very interesting contrasting these "uncouth" Northern Pilsners with the more mellifluous SW specimens, though!
