Test vom 22.8.2005, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 8,7,7,6,7,7 - 6,95

Bottle 330ml. w. swing top @ home.

Clear medium yellow color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, hay, straw, light cereal, light to moderate hoppy, grass. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, dry, malty. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20100820]

Nose was muted and hard to shake hands with. Taste was quite hoppy even for a pilsner. Also discovered cinnamon, subtle lime and some wheat grain. Expected a little more from this but not entirely disapointed.

Bottled 33cl. Courtesy of pivnizub. Clear pale golden with a tall white head. Biscuity hoppy nose with a hint of apple. Good bitterness in the taste. Nice hop profile. The finish is subtle, wonderfully hoppy and reminiscent of pistachio, almonds, basil and faint baklava. I enjoyed the taste and finish much better than the aroma. A very good beer. Thanks a lot pivnizub!

Swing top bottle. Creamy barley malt and light grassy hops aroma. Pale yellow color with moderate head. Sweet/creamy malt flavor initially followed by a green grassy hops finish and a nice malty aftertaste. Very nice pilsener - hoppy with nice German malt flavor.

Bottle brought back from Germany. Bright, golden color with a tall, fine head. Fruity, rich malt aroma with very good hops. A slightly sweet, full malt, very fruity flavor with great hops. Light, rich, easy drinking. A very dry, hoppy finish.

Cloudy golden with a medium off white head leaving laces. Aroma had hops, caramel and malty notes. Fairly hoppy flavour with malty and grassy notes. Finished dry and bitter.
