I had a line up of Acerbity (regular), pFunke, Kofi, and Wurzig. This was my least favorite of the four. Pours murky, off-yellow with obvious carbonation--the bottle fizzes upon opening. The nose is light and lemony. But the finish is relatively quickly and not as resonant around the mouth. Still good, just not the best of the bunch. Bottle #3 of 100.

Bottle thanks to a trade! Pours a hazy pale yellow with a soapy white head that dissipates quickly to the edges. Aroma has a light tartness with a bit of sour lemons with a bit of earthiness. Flavor has a light lemon note that grows in tartness with some earthy wheat underlying.

750ml bottle from mattyb83, thanks Matt! Bottle #42/100. Pours a hazed pale yellow colored body with an inch thick, fizzy and foamy, white head that dissipates quickly and leaves a moderate lacing. Aroma is grainy wheats, a very light citrus, and a hint of funk. Flavor is better. Clean wheats, a light citrusy lemon, grain, and a slight musty funk. Finishes dry, clean, and very lightly tart with a nice, grainy wheat. Shorter aftertaste following a light body and a lively carbonation. Overall, a pretty solid, low ABV (bottle says 2.7%) Berliner Weisse. Clean, refreshing, dry, and just a tad tart. Nice beer.

Berliner in Minnesota - yes! This bottle also gushed a bit, open it over a sink and have a glass handy! Still a bit of nice carbonation and not too much liquid lost. Cloudy straw pour, white head. Great citrus taste. Lemon on the nose with a hint of funk. A touch sour, nicely done!

Bottle opened with a small gush, but the the pour was surprisingly very foamy. The medium sized, white head died pretty quickly after the pour. Nice citric tartness, sweet wheat, light fruitiness in the aroma. Definitely get the pineapple that they were talking about, with a lot of citrus and lemon present as well. Lightly tart taste, plenty of wheat character, lemon seltzer, and plenty of citrus. Very light bodied, and considering the style this is really great. Very enjoyable.
