Gregis (884), Overland Park, Kansas, USA Dec 14, 2007 A big thanks to Head Brewer, Gordon Gerski, for sharing this with tjthresh, csbosox and me during the Power Plant Strong Ale Festival on 12/8/07. Pours jet black with a thin, creamy tan head that laces nicely. Roasted malt and coffee up front, on the nose, with a solid hit of earthy hops in the background. Medium-bodied and creamy, almost silky smooth, with a lightly dry, roasted and bitter finish. A nice blend of coffee, dark roast and earthy hops. I could drink this for breakfast every day.
