MoritzF (3690), Ruhrpott, Germany Feb 25, 2007 (bottle, traded with Koelschtrinker) Clear, pale golden colour with a short foamy white head. Sweet malty, grainy aroma with hay and herbal hops and a touch of citrus. Sweet-bitter flavour, light bodied with a moderate carbonation. Grainy taste with herbal notes; slim, moderately bitter, herbal, slightly grassy finish with a distinctive malty sweetness in the aftertaste. Not bad, just a bit bland and slim. haukur (663), Reykjavik, Iceland Nov 8, 2005 bottled, labelled as "Hannover premium gebraut in Rheinland Pfalz" although the small letter reveals that this is prasidenten pils brewed in Windesheim. Had this with a midninght snack, floral and grassy aroma just as dortmunder describes, although it is ruined horribly with an awful butter taste, over the top creamy finish, this is almost a drain pourer [re-rate] after ALMOST finishing my glass I have decided this is something for the rats in the basement, first time I´ve wanted to puke after a beer since Egils Sterkur dortmunder (961), Herdecke, Germany Jun 14, 2005 Bottled. Yellow colour with a big frothy head. Grassy hop aroma with a tiny hint of diacetyl. Sweet, slightly malty, flowery taste. Finishes hoppy, but sweet. I, for myself, found it to be a very easy-drinkable pilsner. Ronald (1), Hengelo, Netherlands does not count Mar 11, 2005 an easy drinking beer for a good price. It has a sweet taste, light body and i like the alcoholperc. of 4,7%. This beer is soft carbonaded and has a strong lasting head. The initial appearance of the white head is creamy. This beer is absolutely not bitter and is also a perfect drink for summer times. For me it’s the President of the German Beers. Both the initial taste as the finishing taste are sweet-light. Yogi_Beera (2402), Hamburg, Germany Nov 15, 2004 aihhh- so this was on tap at my neighbor hoods pub the Bodega - Sweet grain, hay and grass aroma and taste. Straw yellow with a little head, weak and thin and artificial.
