Mr. Hard’s Rocks is the most powerful stout on brewer’s offer. Deep black, totally unclear with thick, solid beige head. Full of roasted malt aroma (dark chocolate, roasted coffee). Our imperial stout is creamy and medium-saturated. The taste brings a repetition of chocolate, coffee and some tobacco. Rather sweet, with some bitter notes from british hops. It’s well-balanced example of british style imperial stout. 25°

Pitch black color with medium tan head, which vanishes quickly. Well composed aroma of chocolate, roast, cherries, coffee. Intense taste of chocolate, roast, earth, light sweet with little alcohol warming and bitter finish. Full bodied, oily with soft carbonation. Great RIS, engaging the senses.

Aromat średniointensywny, złożony i przyjemny, czekolada deserowa, praliny, paloność.

Fantastyczne piwo!

330ml bottle shared by Per Pippin. Pitch black body, low tan-coloured head, scattered lacing. Inviting smell of dark malts, nicely roasted. Chocolate, coffee and earth to the taste character. Long-lived roasted bitter ending. Oily palate. Full bodied. A pleasant slow beer. (At Magne’s place, Prestvika, Sommarřya 02.09.2016).

0,33l bottle at home. BB 10.02.2017. black color, very dark coffee colored head. smells of licorice, spices, dark fruits, raisins, plums, eathy notes, light smokish, some leathery notes. nice smell. full body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes earthy, like smoke, bit milky, caramel, licorice, some spices, light alcohol, peppery. finishes lightly alcoholic with notes of smoke, earthy notes and some spices. very good one, good complexity, a bit on the smokey side, but overall nice balance. good imp stout.
