Mortlach (1013) - Rome, ITALY - DEC 14, 2014
Handpump @Ma che siete venuti a fŗ (Roma), Birre sotto líalbero. Pours deep black with little brown head that rapidly disappears. It smell like chocolate, cappuccino, tiramisý, with a little touch of hazelnut and vanilla, alcohol. Taste is sweet. a little unbalanced, chocolate and cappuccino again, then a touch of coffee. Full body, no carbonation. At first, itís an impressive stuff, then in long run, it becomes filling. So so...

On pump tap at the Birre Sotto l'Albero festival in Rome-ITALY (Macche and Bir&Fud). Pours black with a brown head. Nose: cappuccino, mocha, chioccolate. Mouth: dark chocolate, alcohol spirit notes. Nice but not that easy drinking. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Amazing aroma, loads of dark chocolate, roasted malts, coffee, light vanilla. as it warms up tobacco appears - absolutely amazing. Pours jet black with medium sized head leaving nice lacing. Taste is complex and rich, but I honestly expected more. It is sweet, countered by nice bitterness, yet I expected a bit more. Alcohol is hidden well, warms the throat a bit. Overall itís a brilliant beer - best RIS brewed in Poland in my opinion.

Kolor czarny, nieprzejrzyste. Piana niska, brunatna, pozostawia do konca cienka obraczke.

On tap. Black with one finger beige head. Coffee and slightly earthy aroma. The alcohol is a little too noticeable in the coffee like taste. Decent.
