COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Mr. Hard’s Rocks is the most powerful stout on brewer’s offer. Deep black, totally unclear with thick, solid beige head. Full of roasted malt aroma (dark chocolate, roasted coffee). Our imperial stout is creamy and medium-saturated. The taste brings a repetition of chocolate, coffee and some tobacco. Rather sweet, with some bitter notes from british hops. It’s well-balanced example of british style imperial stout. 25°

Wygląd - czarne, nieprzejrzyste, piana beżowa z drobnymi pęcherzykami, szybko się redukuje do niskiej obręczy. Aromat - dużo kawy, gorzkiej czekolady, wiśnie w czekoladzie i praliny z alkoholem. Smak - paloność, kawa, gorzka czekolada. Czuć także lekką popiołowatość. Ogólnie bardzo przyjemny ris, jednak niczym szczególnym nie zaskakuje.

Pours black, not much head. Smell is heavy, bit sweet. Dark malts. Taste is heavy, roasted malts. Bit sweet. Mild bitterness. Very basic imperial stout, but nothing bad. i just miss that extra little something to make it more ’different’ than the many other ones.

Bottle shared in copenhagen, poured black with a tanned head. Nose of roasted malts, sweet cherries, red fruits, char, sticky toffee and light coffee. Taste is sweet with a little bit of heat in the back. Ok, but overrated

Tap @Pulapka, Gdansk. Medium beige creamy head, very dark brown, nearly black colour, good lacing. Aroma of coffee, smoked, grain, oil. Lightly sweet with strong bitter aftertaste. Full body, oily, flat. Very well balanced, fantastic beer.

UPDATED: AUG 2, 2016 Bardzo wyrazista kawa, gorzka czekolada, likier ziołowy. Fajnie zamaskowany alkohol lekko grzeje w gardło. Świetne piwo

Bottle shared. Pitch black pour with a thin, fine-grained tan head. Notes of chocolate, roasted malts, dark cherries, some molasses, smoke. Full bodied, smooth texture with a low carbonation and a roasty bitter-sweet finish.

Bottle from Lawendowa 8 in Gdansk. BB 10.02.2017. Pours deep brown, appearing black in glass. Head’s not big, tan, doesn’t stay for too long and leaves no lace. Aroma of sludgy chocolate / cocoa essence and toffee sweetness. Wouldn’t say much coffeey as suggested on the label. Tastes really sweet, chocolate fudge, vinous, and a bit of burning hops in the finish. Powdered sugar. Soft on the palate, soft carbonation too. A bit sticky, but lacks the RIS sludgy heaviness I like. Harsh finish. Hides the 10% pretty well behind a wall of sweetness.

Yea, good, but... : )

Czarne, nieprzejrzyste. Piana brązowa, drobna, ładnie się trzyma. Aromat mocno kawowy, esencjonalny. Dodatkowo wyczuwalna pszenica w dodatku. Bardzo dobre piwo.
