On tap @ Klub Malych Pivovaru, Pilsen. Clear amber body, medium white head. Aroma is diacetyl, caramel malts, bread and hints of straw and nuts. Taste is nuts, bread, sweet grainy tones, hints of vanilla and caramel. Light body, medium carbonation. Fair enough.

Pours in darker bronze color with good white head. Aroma has caramel notes, it is malty, very light roasty character. Taste has caramel sweetness, with very interesting fruity after taste to it, almost like cherries. Bitterness is very light, noble. Body is full with medium carbonation.

Roublard (180) - Prague, CZECH REPUBLIC - DEC 30, 2013
Bottled. Aroma a bit spicy, with decent amount of caramels and roasted malts. Appeared almost clean dark amber body with beauge thin decent head (almost ideal vidensky lezak appearance). Tastes a bit bitter with malts, herbs and roasted caramel. Texture medium, fizzy carbonated, finish is decently long and hoppy at the very end. Nice one, one of a classic vidensky lezak.

(Draught at Pivovarsky Klub, Prague, 19 July 2013) Golden amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Malty, fruity nose with herbs, apricots and brown sugar. Malty, fruity taste with notes of apricots, honey, hints of chestnuts, candy sugar and a certain spicy bitterness in the finish. Medium body, quite sweet. Interesting, and quite nice.

Točené(@Pivovarský klub): Deep golden, clear, medium-sized loose white head with a little lace, moderate malty - traces of bread included - and also hoppy nose with a certain fruitiness (traces of infection???) underneath;moderate dryish bitter-sweet flavour, almost medium bodied and quite soft; lingering dryish hoppy finish, balanced by a delicate sweetness. Just good and moreish…
