RexTalionis (2513) - FINLAND - OCT 11, 2014
Bottle. Pours near black in color with a tan head. Roasted malts, cold coffee and hints of ashes in aroma. Roasted malty taste with some sweet and bitter chocolatey notes being upfront. Bit of licorice in aftertaste. Smooth and nicely balanced brew on the whole.

Alengrin (2076) - BELGIUM - AUG 31, 2014
Heavy stout with light beige head and blackish colour with burgundy hue, hazy. Aroma of caramel, coffee with milk, dates, fried eggs, iron; candi-like sweetish onset, candied fruits, smooth, bit iron, light toasted malts in the finish, low hop bitterness. Lacks personality and bitterness but perfectly enjoyable.

beige head leaves structured lacing. coffee coloured. not so much aroma, slight sulphury, bit boozy, some roasted malts and yeasty. taste of liquorice, bit sweet with a long coffee bitter finish. rather thin mouthfeel, medium carbonation. i liked their other beers more. bottle 33 cl / bbf dec-2015

tricksta_p (1190) - Steenwijk, NETHERLANDS - MAY 28, 2014
Strong aroma of roasted malts, dark chocolate, coffee, light liqourice. Flavour is roasty, lots of coffee and some chocolate. Could be a bit more thick and deep on the palate, but this is much to my liking. Well done.

vipinvelp (2245) - Velp, NETHERLANDS - APR 12, 2014
Quite dark with huge light brown foam head. Bit weak aroma, bit sweet to. Likewise taste, too sweet, not enough bitterness for a stout. (Arnhem 201404)

bursprak (664) - Aarhus, DENMARK - FEB 1, 2014
33 cl bottle aqcuired in the Euro local swap. Pours almost black with a fairly large pale head. Aroma is some cocoa, vanilla and some hazelnuts. A bit to lively with the carbonation which disturbs the mouthfeel. Taste is again vanilla, toffee, some weak coffee and some cocoa.

henkjanwiegers (120) - NETHERLANDS - JAN 28, 2014
Bottle @ De Markies. Aroma is coffee and cacao. Pours a really black color with a hazel head. Taste is sweet coffee, chocolate, mocca, baileys cream and some dark berries. Aftertaste lingers for several minutes and tastes of dark chocolate, hazelnuts and espresso. Great beer!

RW80 (645) - NETHERLANDS - DEC 22, 2013
Draft at the 4e Nooderlijk Kerst - En Winterbierenfestival Almost black, with a nice light brownish head. Aroma: Roasted and camarlised Malts, coffee, licorice and chocolate . Taste; Camarelised Malts and chocolate and licorice and floral as you would expect from the aroma. Still it doesn’t fall in the trap of becomming to sweet. The roastyness does show up in the finish which has subtile coffee and roasted malt tones. Medium body, soft carbonation, creamy mouthfeel. Overall a ok Stout.

Maakun (682) - The Hague, NETHERLANDS - OCT 30, 2013
UPDATED: OCT 31, 2013 Cloudy and very dark, no head at all. Liquorice, espresso, dark sugared fruits, brandy, light smell but very strong taste. Later much more sour. Palate is medium light, no carbonation and long finish. Looks terrible, is completely flat, but tastes not as bad. Probably a bad bottle. Drank 2/3 and poured the rest down the drain.
