COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Let’s face it – we love big, flavorful stouts. As luck would have it, our friend Jeppe at Evil Twin Brewing feels the same way. We decided to brew a beer together that took elements from our favorite stouts we each produce to come together as one beer. Bible Belt takes elements we love from Prairie Bomb! and combines them with Evil Twin Brewing’s world famous stout, Even More Jesus. The end result is a smoky, spicy stout that is sure to please the pallet.

No. 400, and 75th impy. Bottle (thanks Matt!), thick and black beer, thick walnut colored head. Aroma smoke, toasted barley, anise, vanilla, oak, chocolate. Taste is vanilla, smoke, oak, anise, molasses, black licorice, coffee, spice (peppers?), and smoke on the finish. Very complex. The Flavors play off all over tha palate. Reminds me of barfly with pearls. Palate is rich and thick, carbonation subdued. Finish nearly dry, the hops just peeking through, mingling with the smoke and toasted barley, the licorice, a hint of oak...oh yeah.

So amazing. Slightly more chili than prairie bomb. The flavor lasts longer as the beer cools. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle shared with daje, edvard and Simonsen at The "Esp0r #2000 Weekend in The Woods" 2014
Pours pitch black with a tanned head. Smell of chili, vegetables, coffee, dark malts and alot of roast. Medium sweet, chocolate, chili, coffee, roast, just delicious and balanced. Earthy hops, just a very good beer!

On tap, poured into a snifter. The aroma is a warm vanilla and dark chocolate with late notes of nuts and cherry, that later, turns to caramel and nuts. The beer is just short of opaque with a dark, rich burnt brown hue and tan dense soap head that has a low retention and light, runny lace. The taste is a high / medium high, chocolate bittersweet. It?s chewy and syrupy with a dense fuzz and full body with notes of dark chocolate, bourbon caramel and vanilla, just a slight alcohol heat, and wood. It finishes smokey with a cherry zip. The sticky aftertaste is smokey and slightly dry with chocolate, caramel, nuts, and a malt character that?s long and strong.
