COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Let’s face it – we love big, flavorful stouts. As luck would have it, our friend Jeppe at Evil Twin Brewing feels the same way. We decided to brew a beer together that took elements from our favorite stouts we each produce to come together as one beer. Bible Belt takes elements we love from Prairie Bomb! and combines them with Evil Twin Brewing’s world famous stout, Even More Jesus. The end result is a smoky, spicy stout that is sure to please the pallet.

Bottle, 12 FL OZ ml. Pours pitch black with half a finger of dark tan head, quickly dissipating. Looks very thick from the pour. Lacing is significant. Strong dark chocolate note on the nose with a little bit of chili of unspecified type to back it up. Molasses and black coffee are present though not as significant as the chocolate. Aroma also something of a biscuity character as well as a slight earthen or plant-like edge, perhaps a side effect of the chilli. Coffee is much bigger in the taste, coming right to the forefront and providing a big bitter note, balancing out the initial sweetness of the chocolate. Chili is again detectable but by no means in a strong or overbearing way, tending to stay around the edges and providing a slight tingle. Body is full but texture-wise a little more watery than anticipated; still mostly a smooth experience with any harshness coming from the chilli rather than carbonation or alcohol, despite the ABV.

0,33l bottle at home. black color, small dark-coffee colored head. smells of cofee, roast, ash, charcoal, some cocoa powder, some vanilla, licorice, bitter chocolate, bitter herbs. nice smell. full body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes rather strong of vanilla, some licorice, some annoyingly heavy coffee notes, light ash, some bitter herbs, earthy. finishes with some roast and some dryness with rather too much vanila, licorice and a light chili burn. In general I am not a fan of vanilla beers, unfortunatly this was no exception, the nose was quite lovely and the vanilla notes were very subtle there, but on the taste just too much vanilla and the flavors were all over the place, not a fan.

Flaska från SB. Svart, tjock vätska med tunt brunt skum. Doft av intensivt kaffe, något nötig, kanderad mandel, nötkräm, tryffel, mörk choklad, bitter kakao, chili. Halvtung kropp, men oerhört mäktig. Mycket av allt i smaken. Inledande kaffe går över i viss chilihetta och mörk choklad i eftersmaken. Tåls att smutta på en bra stund. Mäktig och mättande. Inte en öl för de klentrogna. Puh!

Pitch black, with brown head. The aroma reveals coffee and chili peppers, dust, light leather, liquorice; powerful. Full bodied, yet the mouthfeel is not too thick; it has a rich chocolate flavor, but the coffee and chili don’t necessarily improve it; also some liquorice in the end.
Very good beer.

Bottle, Brewdog Leicester. Near black with an off white head. Dark chocolate with berries and vanilla. Marzipan alcohol with soy sauce and earthy notes. Creamy with toffee and pepper. Rich coffee with liquorice. Quite hot on the palate with vinous and plummy notes. Really good.

Black pour with a small tan head that recedes to leave a ring of foam. Big coffee aromas. Big roasted flavours, roasted malt, roasted coffee, burnt sugar, treacle... Thick and heavy, with a mild chilli tingle at the end. Delicious.
