Let’s face it – we love big, flavorful stouts. As luck would have it, our friend Jeppe at Evil Twin Brewing feels the same way. We decided to brew a beer together that took elements from our favorite stouts we each produce to come together as one beer. Bible Belt takes elements we love from Prairie Bomb! and combines them with Evil Twin Brewing’s world famous stout, Even More Jesus. The end result is a smoky, spicy stout that is sure to please the pallet.

Svart och trögflytande. Bra imperial Stout med kaffe och choklad. Inte så mycket chili i eftersmaken. Riktigt välbalanserad. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle at home. Aroma of dark chocolate, cacao, mocha, roasted malts, more creamy cacao, milk chocolate, vanilla, mild peppers, sweetish dried fruits, coffee, espresso. Flavour is sweet with a little bitterness in the aftertaste. Smooth and rich, complex yet easily drinkable. In fact, this is remarkably drinkable considering the ABV, not boozy at all. I am floored by this beer!

Bottle... Cloudy dark-brown pour that sits black in my glass with a small, creamy, khaki head. The aromatic highlights are mocha, vanilla and light smokiness. Full-bodied with a silky mouthfeel and tingly carbonation. The flavor offers bitter espresso, dark chocolate, chili pepper spiciness and snuffed campfire embers. Lengthy, boozy, spicy-warm finish that leaves a bitter aftertaste. Bottle courtesy of landhoney!

Bottle at tasting. Black oily pour. Aroma of cacao, vanilla bean and peppers. Rich full taste of earthy vanilla beans, chocolate and mild peppers. Very balanced, with a long tasty finish. Awesome beer.

355ml bottle from Systembolaget. Black with a beige head that disappear quickly and completely, weak lacing looks reallt thick in the glas. Chocolate, cocoa and coffee directly in the nose, sweet and creamy armona to with creamy toffee. Full-bodied with really thick and oily mouthfeel, low carbonated. The taste is honey smooth with sweet chocolate, toffee, vanilla, espresso, dark syrup with a small gentle heat in the finish.

Very dark brown almost black body with a thin brown head. Aroma is coffee, malt, licorice, chocolate. Taste is sweet with a strong coffee and chocolate influence and a slight bite from the chillies. Lingering bitter coffee finish. Thick texture with very soft carbonation. Also for 13% it does well to hide the alcohol. Got carried away and it tricked me. Lovely beer.

35.5cl bottle, served in Snifter. Pitch black colour with small tan head. Aroma is chocolate, coffee, wood, and hints of licorice. Pretty much the same on flavour, very subtle chilli touch. Everything is well balanced. Moderate spice that lingers, the heat is quite evident but not too overwhelming. Mouthfeel is full, oily texture, carbonation is very soft (needs more definitely). It is not a masterpiece, but tastes good and it’s original.

Keg at PSBH, Manchester. Black with a tiny ring of head. Waves of coffee hit the nose first. Dark chocolate and roast. All the flavours combining on the tongue with heat tickling the throat in the finish. Pretty cool. I think this has a slight edge over Bomb.

W aromacie uderza czekoladowa pełnia z waniliowymi i lekko orzechowymi wtrętami. Aksamit.

Bottle. Trade with Hackobock. Thanks Jacob. Pours black with a creamy beige head and lacings. Chocolate, fudge, vanilla and tasty coffee roast. Smooth and soft. Lovely!
