Let’s face it – we love big, flavorful stouts. As luck would have it, our friend Jeppe at Evil Twin Brewing feels the same way. We decided to brew a beer together that took elements from our favorite stouts we each produce to come together as one beer. Bible Belt takes elements we love from Prairie Bomb! and combines them with Evil Twin Brewing’s world famous stout, Even More Jesus. The end result is a smoky, spicy stout that is sure to please the pallet.

12 oz bottle. Hugs and love to Timo A! Black color with a tiny brown head. Very strong aroma of roasted malt, coffee, cocoa, dessert wine, berries, darkness, ash and dark chocolate. Complex. The flavor is... perfect? At least pretty close to perfect. A liquid paradise of dark chocolate, dessert wine, coffee, ash, cocoa, mild chili warmth and roasted malt. Complex and balanced. I could say I like this. And now the joke about the Bible Belt... ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: NOV 19, 2015 On tap. Pitch black. Minimal tan head. Smells like sweet chocolate milk. Very sweet and chocolatey initially. Nice roasted malts and perfect balance of bitterness to milky stoutness. Booze is absolutely hidden, at first. Starts to warm and out comes some bourbon and maybe a hint of vanilla. A big fluffy stout that would go great with Sunday morning cartoons!

Many thanks to Matt for this great brew! Cheers man!

33cl bottle served in a snifter. Pours black with minimal head and low carbonation. Aroma is dirty coffee grounds, (cinnamon wood), vanilla and cocoa. Taste is sticky sweet vanilla with a woody backdrop and chewy mouthfeel. No heat from the chili but adds to the woody flavours enhanced by the cinnamon. Absolutely delicious.
