Let’s face it – we love big, flavorful stouts. As luck would have it, our friend Jeppe at Evil Twin Brewing feels the same way. We decided to brew a beer together that took elements from our favorite stouts we each produce to come together as one beer. Bible Belt takes elements we love from Prairie Bomb! and combines them with Evil Twin Brewing’s world famous stout, Even More Jesus. The end result is a smoky, spicy stout that is sure to please the pallet.

Bottle from Chinasky, Madrid. Black with an initial, small light brown head. Complex vanilla and chocolate aroma with hints of berries, marzipane and wood. Some sweetness, full-bodied. World-class.

Tap@ taphouse. As Evil twin /Prairie Bible belt. Poured black with a thin brown head. Somewhat spicy, blackcurrant nose, roasted malt, licorice. Flavor has sweetness, berry tartness, licorice, spicy notes. Smooth, with the berries dominating. Weird, but quite enjoyable.

Tap@taphouse. Black. Chocolate malty nose. Dry cocoa powder, milky sweets. Full bodied, surprisingly clean, bit milky finish. Some stranger veggies, guess bit leafy hoppyness. Intense flavours.

Draught at Taphouse Copenhagen. Low fluffy and quickly disappearing white head. Vanilla coffee cocoa caramel aroma. Bitter sweet powerful roasted malt coffee caramel cocoa flavor. Alcohol nicely hidden. Wineous and very well balanced.

Draft. A black beer with a dark brown head. The aroma has notes of coffee, roasted malt, chocolate, and alcohol. The flavor is sweet with notes of coffee, roasted malt, bread, and chocolate, leading to a dry roasted finish.

Un rapido commento…On tap. Colore bruno impenetrabile…aroma maltato tostato polveroso di caffè appena bruciato, spezie con qualche nota piccante e terrosa…gusto rotondo, denso e complesso. Magnifica.

Incredibly thick. Used motor oil. Chewy. Smells like chocolate. Taste like smoke and ancho chilies. Mexican chocolate. Chipotle. Wow, this is good. Would be nice side by side with an Abraxas. Another gem sent my way by Malster85.
