I think I was lost by the Prairie Bomb and Merica, but this one is pretty darn good! You can smell the aroma of espresso and chocolate. Dark as oil. Lacy head. The cocoa nibs and booze are detectable. Full bodied. Complex beer. Reviewers say the chili is pronounced but I did not detect any heat. It is shamelessly good. I’d love to try this one on tap. Or maybe even buy it andvpull it out in December.

12 oz bottle. Dark brown with tan foam. Nose is ashy chocolate, chili, espresso and vanilla bean. Silky medium body with a buzz. Taste is dark chocolate, spicy chili, raisin and coffee but leaving a strange burnt clove aftertaste. Surprised this is 13%.

Pours an espresso color with a foamy reddish brown color head. Notes of dark chocolate, mole, earth, vanilla, smoke, and burnt bread. Silky mouthfeel with a long finish. Great.

Bottle shared by krazy lraddel who brought a nice horizontal to the tasting... Thanks man! Pours intense dark brown with a nice dark brown head. Lots of Jalapeno in the nose, together with green paprica. High on the roast in the body, dark espresso and very dark chocolate. A bit too high on the hot spices.

I stort sett helt svart öl med ett beige skum. Doft av rostat kaffe, mörk choklad alkohol och lättare chilisting. Samma återkommer i smaken tillsammans med lättare vaniljtoner och toffee. Precis lagom med chilihetta för min smak.
