From tap. Pours cloudy pale yellow with a small white head. Aroma is citrusy and light estery. Smooth fruity, mango and passion fruity. Smooth and crisp hoppy. Lingering fruity and smooth into the far finish.

Bottle: Hazy, cloudy, bright & slightly burnt yellow with a foamy, semi-chunky bone white head. Aroma is a total Brett bomb. Musty, funky pineapple, apple skin, mildewy wood, old cheesecloth, mild sweat. Light, underlying floral notes, ashy hops. Faint fruitiness, hard to discern anything specifically. Just loads & loads of brettanomyces. Taste is the same way. Funky as hell, huge yeasty & Brett-loaded flavor. Huge wood & wet oak character from front to back, like sipping on a cup of wood chips at times. Very dry, not much tartness has developed (yet, anyway) from the yeast. Earthy, almost dirty finish with light flowers on the tongue. Dry, thin, sharp, crisp, heavily carbonated. This one smelled a little better than it tasted... Decent, but a little too much Brett without any counterpoint. Maybe some time will sour it up a bit.

Tap at CBC 2014. Beer in the glass light golden, small head. Mild sourish aroma. Starts mild, almost a bit washy, more and more malty, some dry-bitter notes. Finish boring malty. Not my favourite.

Bottle. Murky golden body with a huge white head. Malty aroma with spicy yeast, herbs, mild funky. Taste is sweet caramel, a light funkiness again, fresh lemon zest, peppery yeast notes. Slightly acidic and spicy finish, with a refreshing fruit aftertaste.

Bottle 375ml. Pours blond with medium white head. Nice lacing. Aroma is of barnyard, yeast, duck droppings, rustic saison yeast. Taste is of earth, grain, bitterness, minerals. Palate: Light-medium body. Medium carbonation. Overall: Earthy. Harsh. Not really interesting. I’m a big fan of wild yeast action. I never hesitate to sacrifice myself to taste barnyard stuff or heavy metal brett action. But this is just duck droppings.

Bottle (375 ml). Thanks to Marcus for this one! Cloudy pale straw color with a small white head and little lacing. Aroma is quite rustic with herbal notes, lemon, light spiciness and earthy notes. Taste is quite rustic too with herbal presence, lemon, light malt backbone, earthy notes, spices and hints of acidity. Medium body. Soft carbonation. Moderately dry finish. Well executed rustic Saison. Tasty and quenching.
