Birra is a light, sessionable farmhouse ale. It is crisp with notes of black pepper and orange and goes perfectly with food.

355 ml bottle. Slightly hazy pale golden body with a big, creamy white head. Mild but delicate aroma of pale malt, spices, yeast, mild citric fruit and wood. Flavor is more than less the same as aroma, pale malt, mild fruit, spices, yeast, wood and pleasant mild bitterness. Medium to light bodied and short aftertaste. A light and delicate Saison that really don’t taste so much but has a certain delicate depth and some kind of complexity that not necessary stands out in any direction. Close to boring but fascinating enough

Draft... Pours clear and golden with a mid-sized, creamy, white head. Good retention. The nose features pale grains, clove-like spiciness and a hint of fennel. Medium to full-bodied with modest carbonation. The flavor is spicy, sweet and lightly bitter. Tangy finish. There is a lot going on here.

Rating #1436 - 13.01.2015 - Bottle from CBI. Pours a hazy straw colour with a frothy white head and lots of lace. Aroma is of farmhouse yeast, pepper, citrus, soft fruits Clean mouthfeel, medium carbonation, mild alcohol warmth. Taste is a crisp sweetness, tempered with herbal notes, mild pepperiness, mild sourness from the yeast. Great farmhouse.

This ale poured a golden yellow colour with an off white foamy head. Scents include hand soap, ripe fruit, pineapple and cream. First swig was quite thin and watery. Flavours of ripe fruit and cereal most prominant. Finish is a little bitter with citrus hop flavours lingering...

Pour is a hazy yellow with a huge white head that grows after the pour is complete. Aroma is dough malt with creamy yeast and finishes with some citrus. Flavor is much more spicy and peppery than the aroma lets on. I also get some herbal hop with a big finish of white pepper. The was a very nice and flavorful low alcohol saison.

From tap at Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2014. Hazy yellow color with white head. Malty, hoppy and yeasty aroma, floral, citrusy fruity, funky, herbal, spicy. Sweet and biter taste like aroma. Medium oily body with soft carbonation.

On tap at International Tap House, pours a hazy gold with a thin head and a little bit of lacing, the aroma has a decent amount of orange and zest mixed in with a little fit of funk, the flavor has a zesty front end with again some funk in the finish, not sour but different, not bad, crushable if hot.

Tap @Black Door. Clear golden color. Small size, white head, stays. Old shoes, but also white wine, some chardonnay and bit plastic in aroma. Plastic, leather, white wine and some branches in taste. No carbonation, flat. Leather in aftertaste. Dull and bland. Naah.
