Birra is a light, sessionable farmhouse ale. It is crisp with notes of black pepper and orange and goes perfectly with food.

Bonus from a recent trade. Nice crisp and clean drink. Clear light yellow color with frothy white head. Lemon and light herbal aroma. Flavor has a touch of spice banana and clove. Finish is pepper and lemon again. Little bit of Belgian yeast. Refreshing.

Draft at the Syb Pig in Boca Raton, FL. Snifter pour was light yellow with haze. Thick head that didn’t last and some mild lacing throughout. The nose was white grape, farmhouse, spices, herbs, cereal, yeasts, and citrus (maybe lime?) The taste was mild, but complex. Overall solid yeasts, hay, spices and herbs, light citrus (lime) and cereal. Light body, light finish. Fresh. Moderate carbonation. Dry ending.

Bottle from Mikkeller Beershop. Pours cloudy yellow with a large frothy white head. Fresh hay and grass. Mild barnyard and crisp hops. Mild yeast. Quite authentic and true to the style. Bitter grassy and funky finish. Reminds me of the brilliant De La Senne brewery. Fresh is the word!
