12 ounce bottle courtesy of Travlr. Thanks! Pours a hazy lemon yellow color with a large fizzy white head. Decent head retention. Aroma of spicy yeast, doughy malt, stone fruits, caramel, candied lemon. The taste is yeast, stone fruits, tropical fruits, spice, bready malt. Medium bodied, high carbonation, refreshing. Solid beer.

355ml bottle. Slightly cloudy, orangey golden colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Some grainy and bready notes build the basis for an overall fruity aroma with notes of orange and apricot, amended by peppery spicy, yeasty shades. Taste is clearly lighter, abstains from the bready basis, delivers minimally sweet fruity notes of apricot and orange, some hop bitterness goes along with the reappearance of the peppery notes to produce a concerted biting touch; citrusy hoppy finish, lively carbonation.

Keg at the Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2014, red session. 03/05/2014. Aroma is salty, seaweed, lemon, mineral and earthy straw. Clouded yellow straw coloured pour with a sticky white head. Flavour is straw, earthy citrus, saison yeast esters. Good ferment. Lingering harsh earthy bitterness, some dirt. Palate s wheaty grainy, fairly smooth, effervescent carbonation.

On tap at Craft and Growler. Golden pour with a white head. The aroma has some yeast, grass, coriander and biscuit malt notes. The flavor is very similar. There is a lot of peppery spice from the yeast with some orange and coriander notes. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

Butelka 36cl. USTA : mocno gazowane o agresywnym nasyceniu.

From 345 ml bottle. Pours a slightly hazy lemon-yellow with a fluffy white head and lively carbonation. Aromas of hay, lemon, orange, funk and pepper. Taste is fresh citrus at first before some grassy, funky notes emerge. Nice peppery finish, with orange and pepper in the aftertaste. Crisp and refreshing.

Tap @Churchills: I suppose it’s possible to be let down by a really good beer when that brewer routinely hits em out of the park, and then you "only" get a double. This is a very light sessionable saison with hints of pepper and citrus, but all very very light. Not bad at all, just had to work for it. I’d get it again if Prairie beers were cheaper.

I've had better Samson's, but this wasn't a bad one. Just not as good as others. Tasted a little watered down. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
