Birra is a light, sessionable farmhouse ale. It is crisp with notes of black pepper and orange and goes perfectly with food.

Bottle (12 oz). Hazy yellow/golden with a medium white head and heavy lacing. Aroma is moderately peppery with orange notes, very yeasty and light coriander. Taste is also peppery and really yeasty with orange, light coriander and a decent backbone. Light to medium body. Smooth carbonation. Almost fluffy mouthfeel. Dry finish. Quite simple, but with the Prairie signature. Super drinkable and quenching. A good summer beer.

Bottle from trade with soonerchamps I believe. Pours clear pale yellow with a medium sized head that fades to a messy ring. Aromas are oranges, peanuts, bubblegum, bread, lemons, flowers, and black pepper. Tastes like lemon rinds, bread, and flowers mostly. Yeasty finish with some black pepper and spicy hops. Sharp, stinging carbonation. A nice, crisp, light saison.

Hoppy and light saison. Hazy golden. Pepper, straw, lavender, lemon, Belgian yeast in the nose. Taste adds more bitter hop bite but is still very peppery and funky. Long bitter finish with some tartness. Crisp and refreshing. More good prairie...surprise!

12oz bottle into a fluted glass. Hazy gold pour with a slight white head. Aroma of white bread, black pepper, citrus rind, grass. Taste is grass, lightly tart and funky yeast. Bitter. Thick. But easy drinking. Refreshing, crisp finish. Great balance in this beer.

5 July 2014, bottle. Yellow, hazy. Nose is slightly sweet, straw and lemon rind. Thin body and fizzy. Faintly tart, lemon rind, a bit of funk, straw. Decent. A bit of a pale ale blended with a farmhouse ale.

cloudy yellow brown huge white foamy head. smells of piney hops, peppery saison yeast, lemons. tastes like a pale ale saison hybrid. Bitterness is out of control here. Tastes like ketchupy hops and saison yeast. Palate is a bit thick/ it’s not dry enough. better than average, but not by much.

12 oz. bottle, thanks to treebute. Pours a pale, hazy yellow, with a big, foamy, white head. The aroma is straw, barnyard funk, leather, orange peels, sourdough, and cloves. Sweet and doughy, with a strong, earthy, resinous bitterness. Light to medium body, sticky, and clingy. Overall, this is a hoppy, flavorful, and agressive saison, Overhopped, like so many American saisons, but not in a bad way.
