COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bomb! is an imperial stout aged on espresso beans, chocolate, vanilla beans, and ancho chile peppers. All the flavors meld to create a truly unique beer. The peppers add just the right amount of heat to compliment the intense coffee and chocolate flavors.

From bottle. Pours pitch black with a brown head. Aroma of dark chocolate, coffee, roasty, spice, cocoa powder. Taste is amazing, omg! Dark chocolate and cocoa powder, vanilla, raisins, a noticeable hint of the peppers, texture is oily.

12 ounce bottle into tulip glass, bottled on 8/4/2015. Pours dense pitch black color with a small dense dark tan head with good retention, that reduces to a thin lace cap that lingers. Light spotty lacing clings on the glass, with a light amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, vanilla, toffee, molasses, chili pepper, toast, dark bread, light dark fruit/smoke/char, and herbal/roasted earthiness. Incredible aromas with fantastic complexity and balance of dark/roast/bready malt, chili pepper, and coffee/vanilla/cocoa spice notes; with great strength. Taste of huge dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, vanilla, toffee, molasses, chili pepper, toast, dark bread, light dark fruit/smoke/char, and herbal/roasted earthiness. Moderate amount of pepper spice and roasted bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, vanilla, toffee, molasses, chili pepper, toast, dark bread, light dark fruit/smoke/char, and herbal/roasted earthiness on the finish for a while. Incredible complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/roast/bready malt chili pepper, and coffee/vanilla/cocoa spice flavors; with a great roasted bitterness/sweetness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Light carbonation and very full bodied; with a smooth, creamy, fairly sticky/chalky, and slightly slick mouthfeel that is great. Alcohol is very well hidden with only a light warmth lingering after the finish. Very minimal heat from the actual peppers as well. Overall this is an incredible spiced imperial stout style. All around fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/roast/bready malt, chili pepper, and coffee/vanilla/cocoa spice flavors; and very smooth to sip on for the huge ABV. A highly amazing offering as expected.

Coffee, vanilla, and chocolate aromas are reflected in the taste as well. Both are very pleasant. Color and lack of head take away from score, but not my admiration.

Pours dark, dark brown with no head. The nose is all dark chocolate and coffee. Really appetizing! After awhile I get a little note of vanilla on the end. Creamy, full mouth feel. Everything on the label is there. The alcohol is pretty balanced, considering the high alcohol percent. Love the lingering chili... ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle@home. Strong aroma with chili, salty licorice and licorice. Strong taste with licorice, salty licorice and some coffee. Chili comes last mostly in nice warming feeling in throat. Malts bit too hidden. Perfect body with bit too much carbonation. Overall superb IS where the implementation of chili has succeeded perfectly and coffee is not dominant.

Dark brown beer, small tan head. Nose is dominated by coffee, roast notes, chili and alcohol, chocolate and cocoa in the background. Flavor is big and roasty, lots of coffee and milk chocolate. Finishes with vanilla, milk chocolate, warming booze and chili heat. Lingering chili and chocolate. Oily palate. Big and spicy beer. Lovely.

Bottle from VP Aker Brygge enjoyed at home
Pours dark brown, black in glass, with a thick tanned head. Smell of vanilla, cocoa, coffee, some vegetable aromas, dark malts, quite complex and inviting. Heavy sweet, alot of cocoa and vanilla, more coffee hidden in the back with a good kick of chili on the side. Alot of dark dark malts, dark fruits, complex flavors, quite exquisite. Medium bitter, coffee, earthy and chili tail. Very nice!
