COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bomb! is an imperial stout aged on espresso beans, chocolate, vanilla beans, and ancho chile peppers. All the flavors meld to create a truly unique beer. The peppers add just the right amount of heat to compliment the intense coffee and chocolate flavors.

UPDATED: JUL 16, 2015 Rating #1000. Pitch black color with tan head. Beautiful. Aroma is cocoa, vanilla, hint of coffee, chili, amazing composition. Taste is vanilla, bitter chocolate, coffee, chili catch. Not as warming as the BA version and not as perfectly balanced as the BA version, but still an amazing brew.

Butelka. Barwa czarna, smolista, nieprzejrzysta z niewysoką beżową pianą. Silne aromaty czekolady, wanilii, kawy. Bogaty i zrównoważony bukiet - bardzo szlachetny. W smaku wanilia, czekolada. Goryczka nie jest zalegająca, do tego słodycz. Papryczki sprawiają uczucie wyraźnej niezalegającej pikantności. Wyraźny alkohol dobrze balansuje się z bukietem i kompozycją smakową. Do długiego sączenia, nie warto się śmieszyć. Świetne piwo!

Deep black body, viscous, with a thick deep tan cap that left some pretty nice lace on the way down. Nice aromas- cocoa powder and bittersweet chocolate are the most noticeable features. As it warms some licorice, coffee, and vanilla come out. Flavor is much the same with the chocolate and coffee bitterness upfront the vanilla and chilies come out later, the chilies are just noticeable enough, not overwhelming. Overall a super fantastic beer, a bit pricey but what the hell..

On tap at Tap and Mallet, yeah, this stuff is the bomb. Sorry if that is cliched. Licorice bomb. Tons of it in the nose and palate. You could call it anise too. Lots of vanilla too. Great appearance, dark, tan head, nice lacing. I didn’t take many notes on this but loved it.

Pitch black oily pour with thin milk chocolate colored head that dissipates. Vanilla, cinnamon, chocolate, rich roasted coffee, Mexican peppers, booze. Extremely complex flavors melding together. Intensifies as it warms up. Excellent.

Bottle. Pours a thick, syrupy, obsidian blackish color, impenetrable by light, thin espresso film is about all you can really call the head on this. Nose is coffee forward, dark roast, ancho chilis, bakers chocolate, hints of vanilla (one of the first beers I’ve actually detected most of what was in it without having to look at the description... so bonus points there). Mouth is oily and medium sweet, lots of dark things going on: cocoa, coffee, roasted barley, smoke, anchos (faint heat from that last component), earthiness. Warmth from the ABV evident at the back of the throat around the finish. Very nice to enjoy while listening my neighborhood imitate an impact area on a firing range... happy Fourth of July (you’re 239 years old today, ’Merica!!!)

Bottle. Pitch black, tan medium quickly dissipating head with slight lacings. Aroma is sweet vanilla, roasted coffee, chocolate, molasses, liqourice. Taste is delicate sweet vanilla and coffe up-front, into more creamier territory with syrup, more coffee and bitterness with a slight heat from the chili. Big body, medium carbo, sticky and oily texture. Classy.
