Wow! Black with short but persistent cream beige head. Aromas are wonderful: just as advertised, coffee, chocolate, vanilla and chili pepper. In mouth, same notes with a lingering coffee finish. Excellent creaminess and good carbonation. Amazing balance, which successfully hides the 13% ABV to give a wonderfully pleasant, complex and creamy experience. Loved it.

A really great Imperial Stout! Thirty-two ounce growler from Jase at my nearby watering hole. Loaded with complexity and flavors that meld perfectly. Coffee, Chocolate, Dark Fruits, vanilla bean and a little bit of pepper on the back end. Looks great in the snifter. Nice amount of head, nice retention, some sticky lacing. Alcohol is very well hidden until you finish the glass a sip at a time. VERY GOOD BEER!

Bottle: Poured a thick black brown with a thin whispery tan head. Aroma is sweet cocao with some vanilla and light hint of coffee. Taste is rich with loads of chocolate, light coffee, and spicy chili.

On tap at Craft and Growler - Jet black pour with a nice brown head. Strong coffee aroma and taste along with some cocoa. The alcohol is well hidden and can sneak up on you. I like it but for the price Iíd rather have Founderís Imperial Stout.

Amazing!! Coffee aromas, caramel, amazing pour with beautiful foam. The alcohol is not initially present, very balanced. This is now one of my top 3 beers.

On tap at Barley Brothers Stadium. Black pour with a creamy tan head, good retention. Aroma is creamy chocolate milk and coffee, some kahlua. Flavour is the same - rich and creamy chocolate milk with kahlua, sweet and a little roasty. Absolutely incredible.

On tap at Brass Tap Coral Springs. Pours black with a brown head and a pleasant, sweet aroma of chocolate, vanilla, and coffee. Taste is sweet and smooth, nice chocolate cake notes with vanilla, coffee, and dark fruits leading to a sweet, cocoa finish. Very tasty stout with the alcohol well hidden

With Zach and Audrie at Brass Tap, Coral Springs, pours a pitch black pour with a nice Java head. Nose is chocolate malt, coffee and vanilla and fruity. Taste is cherry vanilla, with mocha coffee...has a nice sweetness and the alcohol is well buried in the flavor. Finish is smooth and velvety . Liquid dessert. Quaff Score 8 / 10

Prairie Artisan Ales Bomb! is just that good. Dark pour in a snifter glass with a tan head. The aroma of chocolate and spice is strong. Taste is smooth with chocolate and coffee notes and a hint of vanilla. The chili peppers provide a nice flavor and just enough heat to make it interesting without overwhelming. The high ABV is barely detectable in the taste but is felt as the glass goes down. The Bomb! is all that and lives up to the hype.

Bottle pour into Goblet. Aroma is strong coffee and chocolate, vanilla overtones can be noticed if youíre tuning in for it. Alcohol is evident to the nose but not overpowering. Appearance is pitch black, I mean you canít see past the edge of the glass in front of a light bulb. Tastes like iced coffee with a shot of chocolate syrup and vanilla vodka. Pours with very minimal head that doesnít stay long or leave significant lacing. Carbonation is not visually evident but still it leaves an effervescent tingle on the tongue while being heavy and sweet. Finish leaves a pleasant alcohol burn with coffee as a lingering aftertaste. This oneís a meal (or maybe a rich dessert) in a bottle, and itís delicious. Glad I only bought one because I donít think I could drink two in a sitting but iíll go back and have it again.
