UPDATED: MAY 3, 2014 One of the best beers on the planet .. .
And obviously, you’re not a serial killer, since you’re smart enough to have purchased this issue of Cosmo and a bottle of Prairie Bomb. However, let your neighbors know you have no intent to kill them by doing the following:
Be almost aggressively friendly. Leave gift baskets on all of your neighbors’ doorsteps at least once a week. Greet them in the street by kissing their feet and presenting them with a hand-crocheted cap. They’ll appreciate the token of your friendship.
Adopt at least 6 cats. This will let your neighbors know that you love small animals, and that you don’t have a secret basement room dedicated to killing them.
Never use anything with fire, ever. Shun candles as instruments of evil. Cook all of your food in your microwave, and turn off the gasoline lines to your house. Break your gas stove, and get rid of your oven. Donate your propane grill.
Remove all window coverings from your house. You don’t need privacy. If you’re not a serial killer, you shouldn’t be afraid of baring it all to let your neighbors know that.
Don’t wear clothes. Because some people are colorblind, they might think that your green shirt is red, and that you’re a blood-fueled murderer. Stop wearing clothes. This will melt away any suspicions that your neighbors have.

Remember, keep reading Cosmo for more great tips that will make your neighbors think you’re perfectly sane and normal! oh, and drink Prairie Bomb, it’s amazing.

This beer is damn near perfection. Holy crap. Huge chili nose up front. More chili than anything else. But the chili is actually very subdued in the taste. Taste is of coffee and vanilla beans, then the hint of chili comes in the back end. This beer is smoother than a freshly polished baby’s ass.

Pours black with a ton of dense brown head. Nose is super complex with all the big hitters with bitter black chocolates, coffee, spicy jalapenos, a touch of spice, some alcohol warmth. Flavor is similar with intense chocolates and peppers coffee and great rich complex malts. This and rich. Really nice.

Black. Viscous pour. Very small head. Chocolate covered pineapple aroma. Robust milk chocolate flavors with some pineapple fruitiness. Black roast coffee. High carbonation. Full body. I like the sweetness.

Bottle poured a clear dark reddish brown with a small lingering brown head. Aromas of coffee, dark chocolate, roasted malt, vanilla, caramel and a hint of chilies. Palate was full bodied and smooth with a warming finish. Flavors of dark chocolate, coffee, vanilla, roasted malt, light caramel and a hint of chilies with a smooth warming lingering chocolate coffee finish.

Glad I finally got to thry this. This one is truly spectacular. POured a very dark brown almost to black with a lighter tan head. Aroma was big coffee and chilies, and some ark fudgey chocolate.Taste was big coffee and chilies, mild heat though, great blend of chocolate in there as well, no sign of any alcohol heat at all. Cannot believe this is 14%. One of the best i’ve had in a pretty long time.

Metallic gold wax topped bottle to snifter. Pours a jet black with a short lived mocha colored head. With a swirl a chocolate brown foam coats the glass but then promptly recedes. Big, dark coffee aroma up front followed by a briny fragrance that very much resembles black olives. (Edit: this goes away as the glass warms) Taste is very chocolatey with vanilla bean and coffee. I get some earthiness from the chile but not much heat. A little more than medium palate that’s creamy in the mouth. Coffee and chocolate flavors linger and I now detect a twinge of capsaicin in the back of my throat and along the gumline. Could be a mixture of chile and alcohol heat. The "burn" intensifies as the glass opens up. Pretty nice stuff. Looking forward to trying the Pirate version.

12 oz bottle. Dark brown with tan suds. Nose is coffee, caramel, vanilla, chocolate and chili. Creamy with a tang and building spicy heat. The bitterness of the roast is amplified by the chili but not so much to obscure a lovely vanilla caramel sweetness, finishing with cocoa. Chili dominates throughout but never overwhelms. Delish.

12oz bottle to snifter. Dark brown to black pour. Not thick. Big head that faded to a barely visible ring. Aroma is bitter coffee, sweet chocolate, and maybe a hint of pepper. Smooth on the palate with a little carbonation bite. Tastes like all of those things it’s aged on, but the pepper is very subtle.

12oz bottle -- thanks, J! Pours dark brown, nearly black, with dark tan head. Aroma: Mexican mocha + chili. Taste: really beautiful balance of milk chocolate, coffee, chili, vanilla - seriously a spicy Mexican mocha. Delicious. No hint of the massive 14% abv at all, which is impressive. Palate: full body, nearly flat, slick oily texture. Smooth. The mouthfeel is really the only weakness of this beer, in my opinion. Overall: really great beer.
