4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
UPDATED: FEB 6, 2015 My Bottom Line:
Coffee, milk chocolate, spicy suggestions, vanilla and roasted cereals are harmoniously organized before pepper heat seals this treat of an Imperial Stout.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A slice of foam tops the impenetrable darkness.
-Chili pepper flavors only appear after the malts and residual sugars have done their work. A nice way to balance out a gargantuan brew.
-This is quite refined for a dessert brew with so many components. Definitely more refined (to me) than Hunahpu, for example.
-Effervescence is soft and the mouthfeel is quite comfortable.
-There is a very soft/quiet middle in this brew which makes the product much easier to approach despite its potency.
-This is 14% alcohol?! It’s amazingly hidden.

4.2 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
UPDATED: MAY 22, 2014 Bottle... This beer rocks!… Pours tar black with a small, creamy, tan head. Good retention. The bouquet is a decadent mélange of brownies, vanilla, mocha, roasted tree nuts and cinnamon. Medium to full-bodied and creamy with tingly carbonation. The rich, robust flavor is a malty swirl of fudge, espresso, cinnamon, vanilla and spicy-warm chili peppers. Lightly bitter, charcoal finish with lingering vanilla and chili pepper warmth. Thanks to landhoney for providing this luxurious, world class vanilla Bomb! I love it!

4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
Pretty much stands up to all the hype. The aroma is an explosion of chili, vanilla, mocha. I swear I also smelled algae or kelp of some sort. The flavor delivers a lot of vanilla and just a hint of chili, but not really any spiciness going on. Alcohol is hidden pretty well and all and all is a decadent, syrupy treat. Tasted like a chili, vanilla fudge tart.

Bottle thanks to Darrel. Pours out jet black topped with a tan head. Nose is nice milk chocolate roast spice and some vanilla. Taste is as the nose with lots of chocolate roast some spice. This is very nice.

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
CBC 2014, fad. Så cremet, så fed, så sort. Masser af choko og wiener melange. Blød som fløjl. Og med et diskret lille chili-bite til sidst.
