Bomb! is an imperial stout aged on espresso beans, chocolate, vanilla beans, and ancho chile peppers. All the flavors meld to create a truly unique beer. The peppers add just the right amount of heat to compliment the intense coffee and chocolate flavors.

Schooner at Local Taphouse. Big chocolate aroma. Pitch black with an attractive creamy tan head. Slightly overly sweet, viscous and very full bodied as you might expect. Soft carbonation. Initial experience is like.drinking cocoa, before coffee and finally a bit of heat come through in a long finish. More complex than expected from aroma and first sip. A good effort and a very welcome find in Australia....

Bottle from my main man Justin in Rochester. Pours absolutely opaque, with a tan head that doesn’t stay long or leave any lace behind. Nose is a sweet coffee blast. Tastes sweet, roasted malt, a little bitter chocolate, quite sugary, toffee, brown sugar, raisin and without a doubt coffee bitter. The peppers show up very subtly. This stuff meets the hype.

(Prairie Bomb!) Bottle 355 ml at home, many thanks to rouhlas! Served into a snifter, ABV 13% Black coloured body with a good sized and quite thick dark tan head sitting in top, good retention. Aroma has lots of coffee grounds, lots of chili peppers too, milky chocolate as it warms up, faint alcohol. Taste has more chocolate and cocoa, vanilla, well hidden alcohol, hints of chilie peppers but not a big burn, light coal, more chocolate on the finish. Medium thick body with good carbonation, slightly sticky on the palate. Pretty good.

BOTTLE 12 OZ. Pitch black with a beige head. Tons of coffee and cacao in the nose, that, along with the sweetness and the hot peppers, makes it feel like a liquid chili-flavoured chocolate. The taste is super big! Sweet, but only moderately so, molasses, dark caramel and coffee followed by a moderate bitterness that is half hops and half cilies. The alcohol just adds to the spice. Despite all the intensity, the body is quite easy drinking. An excellent beer.

Pitch black with a minimal beige head. Aroms is coffee, espresso to be exact, chocolate, and a hint of chili peppers. The chili peppers not there much in the flavor just sweet chocolate and more espresso. Overall this sweet not boozy or hot. Nice.

Juste extraordinaire. Nez complexe, parfaitement équilibré : café rond, chocolat noir, chocolat blanc, vanille, biscuit, poivron, piment. En bouche, un bonheur : très chocolaté, caramel, café très rond, piment juste ce qu’il faut pour relever sans arracher ou occulter le reste. Rien à dire : on a ce qu’on attend, tout est maîtrisé.

The aroma is full of coffee, chocolate, vanilla, caramel, cocoa nibs and tar. The color is pitch black. The taste is full of chocolate, coffee, cocoa nibs and chili peppers. I love the balance between the chili peppers and the chocolate and coffee notes. Westbrook take notice! This is art in beer brewing! Wow! What an amazing beer! Looking forward to taste more from this amazing brewery!

Aroma of chocolate, spicy peppers, and vanilla. Nice and clean flavor of chocolate with a prevalent but not distracting pepper taste. Full body.
