Bomb! is an imperial stout aged on espresso beans, chocolate, vanilla beans, and ancho chile peppers. All the flavors meld to create a truly unique beer. The peppers add just the right amount of heat to compliment the intense coffee and chocolate flavors.

355ml bottle from Systembolaget, bought in March 2015, vintage 2015. Black with a small compact, creamy beige head. Wow !!! Intense aroma, dark chocolate, coffee beans, chili, vanilla, Ben and Jerry’s Baked Alaska. Mouthfeel and taste is complex, an overdose of impressions. Full-bodied, thick, creamy, chewy !! The taste begins pleasantly sweet with chocolate, toffee and vanilla, then comes the spicy taste of chili fruit, licorice, espresso beans and warming alcohol.

12 oz bottle. I started drinking this rather rapidly, not knowing what the ABV was. After I got through about a quarter of it, I started to feel something in my head, and then read that it was 13%. Holy cow! Pours black, brown head, little lacing. Aroma is dry, chocolate, dark chocolate, espresso, vanilla, booze. Flavor is all that, plus some peppery spice, dark earthy malt, creamy, an unctuous richness, so to speak. Super creamy finish, dry, with the spice lasting the longest. Bittering as time goes by. Excellent, excellent beer. First Prairie I’ve had, and I’ll be having more!

Appearance: Very dark brown, small amount of tan head.
Aroma: Dark malt, coffee, chocolate, vanilla.
Taste: Very dark malt, coffee, burnt. Vanilla, too. Smooth and hides the alcohol very well. Very, very nice.

On tap at Orchid Island in Vero Beach FL. Very dark brown beer with a brown head. Strong aromas of coffee and earth. Tastes of bitter/dark coffee, bitter chocolate, hints of vanilla with sweet bourbon, and roasted flavors. Bittersweet finish is slightly lactic. Bitter flavors linger for a bit with a steady burn. Delicious.

Bottle. Pours black with a small tanish head. Aroma is of chocolate, roasted malt, dark fruit, pepper, and vanilla. Taste is of chocolate, malt, vanilla, and a decent amount of dark fruit. Has a nice underlying spiciness from the peppers. Lingering taste of vanilla. After a few sips, a lot of cocoa starts to come through. Mouthfeel is sticky, but not too heavy. Body is medium and sticky. It goes down very easy, but it will sneak up on you,

355 mLbottle. Pours like black syrup. Medium dark brown head. Coffee and molasses lead the way in the aroma, but there is a little maraschino cherry and dark chocolate in there as well. The flavour shares similar qualities, but moves them around. Sweet maraschino cherry balanced by roast up front, then vanilla, then milk chocolate. I wouldn’t guess that it’s aged on chilis. Huge body, with just a hint of booze. Outstanding beer.

Pours a thick, extremely dark brown with a short, quickly fading red-brown head. Fresh coffee grounds and chocolate, in that order of prominence, express very well in the aromas. Viscous. Coffee grounds and chocolate flavors. Smoky quality as well.

The smell is certainly coffee beans but nothing I have had before , it’s almost a malty coffee smell. The look is black as hell! The taste is coffee, malt, spicy, chocolate, vanilla!!! This is one of the most complex beers around and it is perfect! Great beer!
