Well balanced, smooth coffee flavor with the chili notes that hit at the end

Wowswers....a lot going on here. Dark black. Dark khaki lacing. Thick chocolate. Subtle vanilla. Even more subtle chili, but not spicy at all. I am shocked this is 14% abv....its so drinkable.

Bottle poured into a snifter. Coffee and chocolate on the nose. Tastes pretty thin with no carbonation. Chilies are more present in this the Bible Belt. Good brew

Dark pour with a thick long lasting tan head. Strong coffee aroma and first taste is coffee mellowed by some cocoa. Very tasty. Don't get much if any chili, but that's ok by me. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pre-DLD bottle share at Hampton Inn. Pour is very dark brown with a long-lasting medium sized brown head. Aroma is of light vanilla, coffee grounds, chocolate, nuts, and roast. Flavor is brown sugar, vanilla beans, molasses, coffee, and a touch of chili powder. Finish is bitter and roasty.

Bottle 355ml with pink wax @ ClubGonzo
Pours black with a tan head. Aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate, chili, coffee, cocoa, vanilla and alcohol. Taste is medium to heavy sweet and medium bitter with a long warm, chocolate, coffee and hint of chili heat in the finish. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Bottle, shared with BBGTC feat. Yngwie and Meilby. The Bomb! :-D Pours a near-black deep brown body with a medium creamy light beige head. Nose is intense filter coffee tones, espresso, alcohol, cocoa, vanilla and hints of dark chocolate and vegetal chili tones. Taste is cocoa, chocolate, mild chili, bitter herbs, vanilla, loads of coffee and hints of grains and caramel. Full body, medium carbonation. Very nice "bombshell" with a finely integrated alcohol profile, considering the high ABV.

Bottle, 12oz. Batch 4, 13%. A gusher, producing a black body under a small, dense, tan head. Lots of coffee and chocolate on the nose, with some cocoa powed, hints of vanilla and a roasted note. Some dark sugars. A faint note of green chilies too. In the flavor the coffee is a bit toned down, leaving more room for the chili. The chili leaves flavor, but not much burn. Actually, the chili burn and alcohol burn combined doesn’t make me think 13-14 % ABV at all. Caramel sauce and some vanilla too. Full-bodied, lightly warming and with a low, soft and pleasant carbonation level. Lasting finish with lots of coffee and some chocolate and chili. Damn, this is wonderful. Wonderful and even more wonderful. 140616

Bottle. Strong coffee aroma that overpowers everything else. Pours pitch black with a thin light brown head and some lacing. Thick almost oily mouthfeel. Taste is sweet vanilla and chocolate to start. Finishes smooth with just a hint of spiciness from the chilies. Taste is excellent but the overwhelming amount of coffee in the nose was too much.
