COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bomb! is an imperial stout aged on espresso beans, chocolate, vanilla beans, and ancho chile peppers. All the flavors meld to create a truly unique beer. The peppers add just the right amount of heat to compliment the intense coffee and chocolate flavors.

Pours pitch black with a finger of light brown head. Aroma is coffee, dark chocolate, a touch of licorice, and pepper spiciness that stays in my nose longer than the other aromas. Taste is bitter chocolate, roasted malt, and peppers at the end. Bitter and spicy aftertaste. Mouth feel is silky but not as creamy and thick as I was expecting. Overall this is a very good stout but I wouldn’t say it’s worthy of the hype, and in no way is it worthy of the price tag.

Bottle from Voldby. Nice head with good duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are rich cocoa, chocolate, vanilla, coffee, vegetables and hops. Lovely smooth and oily palate.

Bottle. Dark brown pour. Minimal head. Sweet coffee aroma. Taste is very sweet dark roasted coffee, vanilla, very tolerable heat from alcohol and pepper. Thick. Good sipper.

On tap at the Bottle Shop: Druid Street. Pours black with small tan head. Lots of chocolate, roasted coffee, vanilla, bit spicy. Sweetish but just right. Thick and oily. Bit warming, but alcohol is well hidden. Smooth. Full bodied, complex. Truly a great brew.

Bottle in trade from Rightcross55, thanks buddy. Dark pour, almost no head. Aroma is sweet chocolate and chilli pepper. Taste has some espresso, chocolate, slight chilli pepper, and coffee. Alcohol is well hidden. Very well done. Prairie just doesn’t miss.

This is a big beer. Boozy and tasty. Viscous black pour. Creamy brown head that lasts a long time. Very little nose. Sweet on the front end, heavy coffee and bitter on the back end. This beer has a thick substantial body. Some of the best coffee flavor I have had in a beer. I wish I could find this more easily.

Gift from John L. The aroma is malt, coffee, roadty coffee. Pours black with tan head, mostly diminishing and very good lacing. The taste is bitter, deep and thick. The body is medium, the texture creamy, the carbonation lively and the finish light bitter. Excellent!

Pours a very deep dark brown. Aroma is wonderful and boozy with dark chocolate, espresso, vanilla, dark fruit and a little pepper. Actually more pepper in the aroma than in the taste. Taste is rich and full with dark chocolate, dark coffee, vanilla, sweet dark fruit, and burnt butterscotch - really beautifully balanced and completely satisfying.

UPDATED: MAY 24, 2016 (33 cl bottle in wine glass.) Pours black and silent as midnight. Gives of a thin yet lively head. Aroma is dense with cocoa and sweet coffee while the taste has well enough chili to burn through the thick brew just enough.

Growler pour from sline..medium black with a small dark brown head..not much carbonation as expected..nose is chocolate..chili’s and coffee..some quality vanilla as well..really nice aromas present..mouthfeel is super smooth and silky with the chocolate coffee n chili’s all intertwined nicely..finishes with just enough spice n heat from chili’s to warm the soul..drinks very easy for the high and..very enjoyable..the barrel aged version of this must be stellar..really nice beer..well done indeed...

The aroma just blows you away. Cacao & chilli taste is perfectly mixed and makes this beer extremely tasty.
