COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bomb! is an imperial stout aged on espresso beans, chocolate, vanilla beans, and ancho chile peppers. All the flavors meld to create a truly unique beer. The peppers add just the right amount of heat to compliment the intense coffee and chocolate flavors.

Prairie Bomb! pours pitch black, and has a decent dark tan head. The head lingers nicely. The aroma is amazingly complex and layered: vanilla, cocoa, big coffe notes, roasted malts, a woody, oaky characteristic, a slight burn of alcohol when I breathe deep, and a very mild chili peppers. It’s rather viscous, a bit slick on the tongue. It’s a very full body. The taste follows the nose nicely. Coffe is prominent, and chilis are just barely there, but it works wonderfully that way. Just a great, great stout.

12oz bottle received as an extra in trade. Pours a thick, jet black color with a thin tan head. Aroma is vanilla, chocolate, maybe a little ancho pepper. Heavy on the palate with light, creamy carbonation. Flavor is sweet, malty, chocolate, coffee, vanilla, some nice chili pepper heat, with a sweet, chocolatey finish. Very nice. Would love to be able to get this regularly.

F*ck!
This is fantastic!

A deep, deep brown almoust black beer with a three finger high, beigebrown head that dissapears fast and leaves no lacing on the glass.

Nose: Wow! This IS a bomb... Coffee, dark chocolate, vanilla, anchor chili, brown sugar, molasses and Turkish Pepper.
Taste: Sweet roasted malt, espresso, brown sugar, vanilla bean, chili, cocoa, dark fruit, oak, licorice... this is a complex taste!
Body: Full body with a complex texture. Light carbonation. A nice "sting" from the chili (but not too much - As we say in Sweden: "Lagom") - This is a beatiful, complex, tasty, big beer and still easy drinkable!

Bottle. Pours a dark brown-black with a ring head, a slight swirl of tan foam, and complete opacity. Nose is vanilla, chocolate, coffee, peppers, and spice. Incredibly heavy and rich on the front of the tongue, with the peppers dominant on the mid-palate; the coffee stays strong all the way through, with vanilla and chocolate remaining as an undercurrent. The finish is spicy and hot, with clove, cinnamon, and smoke. Pretty darn good.

This is close to perfect. Great balance between the espresso beans, chocolate, vanilla beans, and ancho chile peppers. No harshness or edge usually associated with chili beers. All flavors get equal time. Similar to Abraxas. Not overly heavy dispite the complexity. Loved it.

12 oz bottle to snifter. 8.99/bottle a bit pricy but very solid. Pitch black, almost no tan head, light carb, full body, incredible smooth esp for 13%. Nose was sweet chocolate and vanilla. Just a tinge of the peppers, the tamest "peppered" beer I've tried yet. Rest of flavors all present and blend together so well. Other than the price, extremely pleased. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

At first some notes of vegetables, could be a brew-error. Still good. Dark brown, almost black. Has a light brown head, medium duration. Heavy dark aroma, sweet coffee, vanilla,

Batch 1 bottle. Pours a very dark brown with small tan head that diminishes to nothing. The aroma is strong chili peppers, vanilla, roast, chocolate. Slick mouthfeel, dark chocolate, chili, sweet roast, vanilla, nice booze, really enjoyed this one.

12 oz bottle. (Texas Wine & Spirits) Carlsbad, CA.
Pitch black colour with a tiny light tan ring. Roasted malt, mild berries, black coffee, mild spices and some bitterness in the aroma. The flavour is roasted malt, berry bitterness, ashy dryness, coffee, vanilla sweetness and whiskey notes. Warms almost like hell. And hits hard. 13% is no lie. This is a heavy one.
