Prairie Bomb! pours pitch black, and has a decent dark tan head. The head lingers nicely. The aroma is amazingly complex and layered: vanilla, cocoa, big coffe notes, roasted malts, a woody, oaky characteristic, a slight burn of alcohol when I breathe deep, and a very mild chili peppers. Its rather viscous, a bit slick on the tongue. Its a very full body. The taste follows the nose nicely. Coffe is prominent, and chilis are just barely there, but it works wonderfully that way. Just a great, great stout.

Aroma: chocolate, coffee, chili pepper Appearance: black, minimal head Taste: slight sweetness and then heat from chili peppers, coffee taste is subtle Palate: heavy body with a creamy, almost flat texture Overall: A remarkable beer! Never had anything quite like it. Didnt expect to care for the flavors much, but damn they nailed it.

This draft brew from a restaurant poured a head of foamy with a frothy top finely sized light brown colored bubbles that were long lasting and left behind a no visible carbonation opaque dark black brown colored body and an excellent lacing. The nice aroma was malty toasted malt chocolate dark malt and toffee. The crisp mouth feel was very tingly at the start and at the finish with a mild vinous aftertaste. The yummy flavor contained notes of roasted malt cloves toffee vinous mild spice toasted malt chocolate brown malt dark malt and hops. A wonderful best in class brew.

Thanks Kbudd19. Pour is black with a brown head. Aroma is peppers, vanilla, cocoa, coffee bitterness. Taste is a blend of flavors that quickly explode across your taste buds. I taste the cocoa, feel the heat, little sweetness of vanilla, little bitterness from the coffee. Alcohol is not tasted but felt at the end. The heat gains as it warms

Bottle. Head is initially average sized, frothy, brown, mostly lasting. Body is opaque black (flashlight tested). Aroma is moderately to heavily malty (coffee, roasted grain, dark chocolate), with notes of vegetables (chiles, green onions), alcohol, vanilla. Flavor is heavily sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, moderately bitter. Medium to full body, oily/syrupy/velvety texture, lively carbonation, heavily alcoholic/burning. A crude, mediocre rendition, unfortunately. The first obvious problem is the chile peppers, for two reasons: (1) the vegetal odor they impart, and (2) for a beer already throat-burning due to high alcohol, why would you want to add more throat burn with chile heat? The coffee is pleasant at least, but apart from that and the expected choco-vanilla notes, there really isnt much more to it. I spent a while with this, hoping something would open up underneath the primary aromas, but nothing ever did. The chiles dont take it all the way into "unpleasant" territory, but theres just not that much here to entice, it just seems kind of simple despite all the adjuncts used (or perhaps a better way to put it is that there isnt much underneath the adjuncts, which are all pretty obvious). In the mouth, things arent much better...its very sweet and very burning, and fairly syrupy as well. The only place it truly shines is in the appearance department, where true first-pour opacity combined with a lasting head give it a perfect score for a stout.

I have had to travel to Oklahoma for work and this has really become one of my all time favorites. It is a great one and done beer.

Cervesa amb un fort aroma i gust a xocolata i a caf, textura avellutada molt agradable. Cerveza con un fuerte aroma y sabor a chocolate y a caf, textura aterciopelada muy agradable.

On tap at Barley Brothers in Winnipeg. Super dark and velvety. Coffee and chocolate with a creamy texture and fantastic depth. One of my favourites of all time.

This is an awesome and gorgeous imperial stout. Shes packed with a sweet coffee chocolate vanilla tongue and a chili pepper tang finish. Damn good combination balance and applaud the brewer for this fine product. Really enjoyed and you will too...boom!!!
