Bomb! is an imperial stout aged on espresso beans, chocolate, vanilla beans, and ancho chile peppers. All the flavors meld to create a truly unique beer. The peppers add just the right amount of heat to compliment the intense coffee and chocolate flavors.

Appearance - black. No head. Aroma - slightly sweet. Hints of chocolate. Terrifically light. Mouth - slightly more carb than the pour suggested. Not as oily and viscous but I would consider it low carb. Taste - very gentle start. Excellent chocolate malt flavor at the finish. Didn't detect any pepper. The gravity is well hidden. Tongue slightly tingles after some time. Not in your face but balanced well. Overall - this beer is fantastic.

Itís my favourite Imperial Stout Iíve ever drunk. A lot of milk chocolate in taste. Itís high voltage beer, but itís not disturbing and not felt too much. Itís just awesome beer and I really enjoyed during drinking this masterpiece beer.

Aroma contains plenty of dark chocolate, a little less coffee, fresh peppers and a slight tinge of booze. Appearance is a shiny pitch black color. Pours out thick and has less head than any beer I have ever seen. Even as it hits the glass, the foam is nonexistent. Tastes a lot like the aroma, except the pepper flavor is heavier and the coffee only shows up in the aftertaste. Interesting step by step flavor profile of chocolate, then chili peppers, then espresso. No booze burn at all. Not a sipper, alarmingly easy drinking. Palate is surprisingly weak for such a strong thick looking beer. Overall this is an interesting beer and very unique for the style, but not worth the grandiose hype. The palate just ruins it for me.

Bottle 35,5 cl. Pours an opaque black with a light brown head. Surprisingly not very good retention. Super intense aromas, itís all there up front: vanilla, coffee and chili. Rich body, lowish carbonation, sweet roasted malts and the vanilla adding to the overall sweet sensation. Rich, potent and powerful. 220415

Bottle. Pours black with a modest, lasting beige head. Lots of messy lacing coating the glass after a few drinks. Aromas of cacao, coffee, roasted malts, light vanilla. Taste is similar. Strong taste of coffee and cacao--really nice bold flavors--the vanilla is more restrained. The chili pepper is subtle, adds a nice complexity beneath the main flavors. Medium bodied and soft with a dry finish. Extremely easy to drink at 13%. Really an excellent stout.

Woody nose.thin initial mouth feel with strong chocolate coca nibs add odd flavors but the heat at the end is well done. Good if a little odd but I like it.

Bottle at Lincoln Wine Bar. Dense black pour, brown head. Deep malty and chocolate nose. Lots of mixed flavors: chocolate, espresso, vanilla with an almost dusty finish. Beautiful.

Pours clear ruby brown with one fat finger of dense tan head, good retention and minimal lacing. (4/5) Nose is cocoa nibs, dark coffee, vanilla, dark fruit, mild chili peppers. (9/10) Taste is moderate sweet, mild bitter. (9/10) Full body, moderate to low carbonation, mildly boozy finish. (4/5) Very well-behaved, mild and rich, with just a mild chili heat blending nicely with the boozy warming. Deep and rich chocolate dominates, with coffee and vanilla supporting. Bitterness is very mild and never comes to the forefront, but nor does the sweetness ever become cloying, and the body, while full, is never heavy. A truly excellent imperial stout. (17/20)

Tap at Republic...The best batch of Bomb Iíve had...Nose is milk chocolate, nice balanced coffee, wile some vanilla coming in smooth, Peppers were very light...Taste is very balanced unlike mose batches Iíve had. Its seems like they have really got their amount of adjuncts figured out..Taste is nice soft creamy chocolate, coffee, spices, cream, alcohol is hidden with all the flavors coming in.
