Pours a not-too-extraordinary black with no head. Aroma is delicious. Lots of malt, chocolate, and a bit of hops. Whoa!! The taste is stupendous! So well balanced and full if flavor. The palate is off the charts!! Malts, chocolate, coffee, sugar, some vanilla and then a bite of chili peppers at the end make your palate dance and do flips! Awesome brew!!

Bottle (thanks DA for sharing)... Poured pitch black with a mild forming, brownish head. Aroma of earthy dirt and roasted coffee. Tasted of dark chocolate, roasted coffee/mocha, grains, sweet cream vanilla with a hint of chili. Almost like a chocolate/coffee milkshake with chili peppers. As it warmed the dark chocolate took over with the chili becoming more faint. Good stuff.

Dense and rich black pour with 1 finger of chestnut brown head. Gorgeous. Nose is awesome, lots of coffee and vanilla with chocolate showing in a nice supporting role. Rich flavor with vanilla upfront and chocolate right after. Full bodied with coffee and a dark grain bitterness.

12oz bottle (Orange Wax). Huge thanks to RoberDale via six bottle shipper across America. Pours black with a small creamy mocha colored head. Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate, lots of fresh chipotle peppers, and a hint of vanilla bean. Taste of roasted coffee beans, lots of chipotle peppers (but no burn), dark chocolate, smoke, and caramel. Fucking delicious!!!

Dark mocha pour with a tightly packed latte head that left delicate lacing inside the glass. Incredible intermingling of coffee, oats, bakerís chocolate, freshly split vanilla beans, and capsaicin heat from the chili peppers. Delicate smoke, roast, and toast. Unbelievable ABV that isnít noticeable or distracting at all. Would have thought this was 10%. Not too sweet. Great balance. Yum!

Back pour foamy tan head. Coffee and chocolate aroma hint of pepper. Huge coffee with a pepper background then chocolate and vanilla following. Medium body light carbonation. Tasty.

Had on tap at OL Beercafe Walnut Creek CA. Huge coffee aroma and loved the cacao & chili peppers. Great stout, one of my faves

Poured from a 12oz bottle I got in a trade, thanks Devin. Aroma is coffee, chocolate, vanilla, and chile peppers. Flavors are coffee, chocolate, vanilla, cacao, and chile peppers. Fantastic stout, blended together so well, light spice burn in the back of the mouth from the chiles.

Very awesome. Vanilla is there not too strong, but needed. Chilies are very subtle. A little more heat wouldn't hurt the beer but as is, is great anyway. --- RATED

On tap at Torst, Brooklyn. Black with some foam. Aroma is mocha-town. Medium carbonation; flavour is lots of coffee, then chocolate. Canít really pick up much chilli, just a mild tingle. Really nice vanilla on end of palate - lingers a little. After a while heat from chilli builds. Great imperial stout - the coffee interacts superbly with the spice and chilli.
