Eliza5beth is a golden farmhouse ale that we aged on apricots to allow sourness and light fruit flavors to add complexity to the beer.

Bottle. Bottledog, King’s Cross. Dark yellow. Lots of haze. Thin, sticky, white head. Sweet brioche, bready malts. Decent fruit. Might not have guessed apricot though, to be honest. Probably have said orange or melon. Taste is soft sweet, and earthy dry. Light bitterness. It’s a bit subdued really. Nice and smooth, and drinks well under the ABV. In fact, it feels a tad thin. Finishes mostly soft sweet, and slightly earthy dry. Underwhelming.

Pours hazy yellow color with a large head. A bit of a gusher. Quite aggressive acidic notes here, spices, some fruits. Spicy flavor, yeasty, slightly grassy, wooden, faint soap notes and fruits. Not quite as good as I expected.
