3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Very chalky brown. Enticing. Oh and then there’s that funky dirty laundry, i.e. "galaxy", aroma. The flavor is all hoppy, floral, citrusy, etc, and then the other half of the flavor is roasty and malty. This tastes like a beer cocktail, and probably is. Its 75% good and 110% weird.

Dark dark mahogany pour with a nice beige head. Nice lacing. Aroma is brett up front with some dusty, herbal, and pine notes as well. Taste is brett, baking chocolate, pine, earthy, some citrus and herbal. Funk and roast aftertaste. Soft on the palate. A lot of layers of flavors. Really nice beer.

On tap at the Meddlesome Moth. Black pour with a tan head. The aroma is full of roasted malt and dirt with some light brett notes and a bit of pine. The flavor is very similar. I get a bit of brett with some dark fruit, pine, oranges and cocoa. Very dry. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 12/20
Primarily, I detect a grapefruit aroma. As it warms the Brett becomes more apparent. An opaque black pour with a rapidly dissipating tan head and spotty lacing. The taste is lightly bitter. Funk, barnyard, wood, saddle blanket, and biscuit with a bitter pine/resin finish and aftertaste. Medium body with medium carbonation. Overall, complex and extremely enjoyable.
