Pours a slightly heavy yellow with a fizzy white head and decent lacing. Aroma is funky lemon, berries and a whiff of sulfur and phenols. Taste is initially sweet but then goes tart and funky. Lemon flavors and berries with a tannic quality and some green grassy hops. Also earthy and a bit phenolic. Finishes dry with some lingering tannins. Mouthfeel is crisp with a medium body and high carbonation. Was pleasantly surprised by this. Was expecting it to be very tart but I liked that the funk overtook the sourness a little, making it more complex more suited to my pallet. Very well crafted and interesting combination of flavors.

Love Mosaic, love funk, love Prairie... Pours a slightly hazy yellow medium golden color with a finger of sticky white foam. Nose is a nice blend of watermelon rind, mango, pineapple, hints of barnyard fun and a little bit of lowtide fog. Palate follows and is crushable and delightful ! Wish I had a fridge full of this shit as I crushed two in a sitting.

At Taylor and my’s place with Taylor. Pours light neon orange with haze, thin white head. Aroma is citrus Brett, nice zesty super funky, lemon, delicate floral notes; wow. Taste is funky zesty citrus, big Brett, earthy-hay backbone. This stuff is fantastic, wow. Better than expected, and I expect a lot from Prairie.

Pour is hazed pale yellow with lots of tight white head. Nose is faintly dusty, leathery brett, a good bit of orange citrus and lots of pineapple and tropical fruits. Taste is a bit more musky, leathery brett, still tons of pineapple and citrus. Medium body, assertive carbonation, and lightly dry finish.

(Draught) lightly hazy light gold, wispy white bubbles. Nose of lemon, Mosaic, slightly sour, lemongrass, slightly herbal, yogurt. Taste of mosaic dry hop, lemony, yogurt, not bitter at all just balanced, Brett is present. Undercarbed but nice.

First batch bottle, opened 7/25/14. Pours hazy gold. Funky, somewhat tannic nose, balanced by a subtle fruity hop note on the nose. Rough carbonation. Very dry with a touch of pepper and passion fruit on the end. Another great prairie offering.

Bottle at home. Pour is hazy golden with a big white head and great lacing. Big weed, grassy, biscuit, pretty funky, light pineapple, lemony, ganja, and light mango in the aroma. Taste is bright hoppy - grass, melon rind, light weed - biscuit, peach skins, light oak, and fruit peel with a lightly tart finish with some lingering bitter resin notes. Medium body high carbonation. Nice bretted IPA. Reminiscent of Hop Savant.

Hazy straw color with a white head. The aroma lets you know this beer is dry hopped. I get some green, hop notes that contribute some big orange and pine character, as well as a hint of grass. There is also a big of biscuit and tartness in the aroma. The flavor is similar. There is a nice level of tartness and some very juicy orange and peach character. I also get a hint of lemon, some biscuit malt and a bit of funk. Thin mouthfeel and medium carbonation. A very nice dry hopped sour ale.

Pours lightly hazy yellow / gold with a dense soapy white head. The aroma has wild bugginess, stone fruit, citrus, husks, pale malt and wild/farmhouse yeastiness. It has a medium husky body with lots of semi-sharp carbonation. The flavor stars with lots of dryness, spices, sharp citrus bugs, some peach, apple peels and nice tropical hoppiness. The finish shows more hops, light crackers and a bit of sulfur. Great beer from Prairie here.
