Funky Gold Mosaic is a dry-hopped sour ale. We took Prairie Gold and dry-hopped it with a huge amount of Mosaic hops. The end results are tropical, sour, and an all around new beer drinking experience! This beer is great fresh, but will continue to develop as the wild yeast continues to work in the beer.

Bottle Ok, with this one, Prairie is back on track. This brew is amazing! Pours hazy deep yellow hue with a small spritzy white head. Nose is amazing! huge floral hops, lots of funky esters, slightly sour, just wonderful nose. Flavors follow suit-lite hop presence, mostly sour yeast, esters, Some bitterness. Long sour/tart finish with lingering lemon-ish notes. Lots going on here, just fantastic stuff!

Bottle. Pale gold, shiny, cloudy lace. Nose is a burst of dank urinal cake, then after the shock it turns to lemon, grapefruit, durian. Wow. Sour flavor, grapefruit, sweet lemon candy, lactic acid. Oily, silky body with nice carbonation. Great.

Thanks Jon for sharing the bottle. Pours a hazy light yellow with a small white head that lingers throughout. Pineapple all over the nose with with some brett. Passion fruit, lemon zest, papaya and mango also noticeable as it warms. Light body with spritzy carbonation. Quite complex on the palate compared to the regular Prairie Gold. Reminded me of Brett C. but not quite as good as that. Still wonderful though.

Poured into a wine glass showing whitish cloudy yellow with sparse white foam. The nose shows moderately intense and forward notes of pineapple, light pine, with hints of lemon and brett. The palate is medium bodied and well carbonated. Strong forward flavors of tropical mango, guava, and passion fruit. Lightly tart. Fruit forwardness is intense and long-lasting til the finish and in the linger. I could drink this for a while.
