COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Funky Gold Mosaic is a dry-hopped sour ale. We took Prairie Gold and dry-hopped it with a huge amount of Mosaic hops. The end results are tropical, sour, and an all around new beer drinking experience! This beer is great fresh, but will continue to develop as the wild yeast continues to work in the beer.

Pours a light hazy golden color with a white head. Brett, funk, citrus, hop and cider aroma. Peach, grapefruit, orange, lemon, hop, brett, funk, biscuit and malt flavors. Medium light body and average carbonation. Citrus, brett and biscuit finish.

Bottle shared by Pinkzambia deep golden and modest pale malt flavors. Lots of tropical mosaic hop flavors and a nice medium tartness.

On tap at Hazel. Bold gold body with thin head of foam. Nose is really nice of lemongrass, hops, fruits. Taste is just really good of wheat, citrus, straw and lemongrass. Great combination and deviously good.

Super pint into glass. Pours a light burnt yellow, dandelion is. Super sour mash taste. Barnyard funk in the yeast, then it grows on one. Overbearing sour feel throgh

500 mL bottle. Big white head. Golden orange body. Smells of lemon, yeast, strong hops, and light Theraflu. Tastes of pungent lemon and grapefruit. Tart lemon. Faintest bit of sweet pale malt. Yeasty with that bit of Theraflu. Mosaic comes through as it warms. Pungent garlic with a strong bite. Lingering yeasty bitter finish. Medium high carbonation. Medium body. Again the Theraflu isnít my favorite flavor, but this works. Especially as it warms.

500ml bottle from Zipps in Minneapolis. Shared with the big boys. Very light. Huge funk with some oak barrel. So much lactobacillus it eats the hops. Tasty though. 13.8

Tap at Ox Cart in Lowertown with blonderedhead. Weird 10oz glass. Citrus juice color and appearance. Minimal head. Aroma brings to mind tartness and citrus qualities. Taste is definitely leaning towards a sour with a healthy pucker characteristic. Itís a relatively abbreviated sour taste before giving way to a more straightforward citrus IPA in the middle but falls back into the funky, sour realm towards the end. Not necessarily my favorite but pretty refreshing.

The Well, Brooklyn tap: pours golden with a nice head... surprising no one in that respect. Aroma is light funk, yeast, lactic acid, tropical, fruity, adjectives. Taste is lightly sour, kind of funky. Slight sweetness. Quite good. A pleasure with each sip.

Draft at Blind Tiger. Unclear gold. Some fruity hop on first wiff, fades kind fast. Bit of funk and some great and grainy notes. Slightly fizzy. Clean and a little dry.

500, capped. Thanks so much, G&K! Pours a hazy bright medium orange-amber with a billowing whitish sudsy, slightly fizzy head that lasts. Huge forward peach nose, crystal clear, with fresh cut hardwood, maybe a bit of pencil shaving on those. Predominant peach notes, though--fleshy and juicy. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Lightly sweetened grain underneath the mid-palate, steady wash of crystal-clear peach notes over that, sawdust giving over to pencil shavings near the finish, aftertaste gets a bit minerally without throwing off the other notes in the slightest. Interesting and complex while still packing real force up front in both aromatics and flavor.

Hazy pale yellow pour with a slight white head. Pineapple with a hint of mint in the nose, some straw in there too. Really nice taste, pineapple, stone fruit, medium sour, yogurt lacto. Yummy!
