COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Funky Gold Mosaic is a dry-hopped sour ale. We took Prairie Gold and dry-hopped it with a huge amount of Mosaic hops. The end results are tropical, sour, and an all around new beer drinking experience! This beer is great fresh, but will continue to develop as the wild yeast continues to work in the beer.

Bottle to glass. Pours a hazy yellow with white head. Aroma is hoppy, pine, funky, citrus, grass. Taste is hoppy with pine notes and a solid bitterness, pairs well with a tart salinity. Hints of yeast and pepper. Very enjoyable! Palate is light body, medium heavy carbonation. Very good on a hot summer day! Nom nom nom.

Bottle from Florida Slightly hazy deep yellow with a frothy bubbly white head that persists. Earthy funky fruity with bitter pithy grapefruit dominating and light tropical fruits supporting. Lemony tart lightly puckering finish. Pretty damn good beer.

Bottle (500 ml). Cloudy yellow with a small white head, poor retention, leaving not much lacing. Aroma is of pineapple, dusty notes, weird lactic/cheesy presence, nice funk and herbal notes. Taste is moderately tart with nice pineapples features, lemony, grass, stonefruits and yogurt. Light to medium body. Medium carbonation. Moderately tart and pineapple finish. Good but a bit weird aromatics. Refreshing.

Pours gold into a tulip. Bright white head with good retention recedes to coat surface leaving no lacing. Tangerine and passionfruit aromas. Tart with guava and passionfruit upfront turning to lactic grapefruit pith in the lasting finish.

Bomber. Massive funky nose, shoe polish, floor wax, and light manure. Cloudy pale straw. Initial flavors are a mix of funk and tart sourish fruit, some good peach, and tiny but definite bittering in late mid and final. Medium body, astringent. Powerful nose, with gentler flavors.

Bottle. Pours golden with two inches of thick white foam. Doesn’t leave a ton of lacing in the glass. Huge tartness on the nose along with big floral hops. Nice balance on the tongue between prominent funkiness and floral notes. Finishes clean. This is a fucking awesome beer. Definitely belongs in the pantheon for the style.

Hazy pale yellow color with white head. Aroma has really nice, bright stonefruits and citrus fruits, honey, grass and hay. Taste follows with all the fruity flavors plus a moderate lactic tartness, maybe a touch of brett funk too. You also get some hoppy bitterness on top. Finish is yeasty and dry. Medium body with an almost smooth mouthfeel. Really easy to drink yet tasty hoppy sour ale.
