Funky Gold Mosaic is a dry-hopped sour ale. We took Prairie Gold and dry-hopped it with a huge amount of Mosaic hops. The end results are tropical, sour, and an all around new beer drinking experience! This beer is great fresh, but will continue to develop as the wild yeast continues to work in the beer.

Bottle to glass. Pours a hazy yellow with white head. Aroma is hoppy, pine, funky, citrus, grass. Taste is hoppy with pine notes and a solid bitterness, pairs well with a tart salinity. Hints of yeast and pepper. Very enjoyable! Palate is light body, medium heavy carbonation. Very good on a hot summer day! Nom nom nom.

Had a great head and laced the glass to the last sip. Didnít get a lot of Mosaic aroma and flavor. It did however have that sour smell and taste, in a good way.

Bottle. Pours a hazy yellow with a small white head. Big aroma of tropical fruits (pineapple, peach) and some piney notes coming through from the hops. Taste is medium sour with some nice bitterness from the hops along with the tropical fruits from the mosaic hops, funky and abit lemony. This is right up my alley!

Pours yellowish, cloudy and with some white foam. Aroma is tropical, mosaic is coming through with mango, sweet cheesecake and a bit of funk. Taste has some sour edginess to it but dry hopping makes it all very palatable and brings down the overall acidity. Has fruits, funky horseblanket and berries. Hops are blending perfectly with the overall taste sensation. Refreshing and somewhat surprising how well hops can go with a sour.

Pour a murky ní hazy yellow, with a small white head. Aroma is pretty juicy, slight brett, tropical fruits, pineapple, slight white pepper goodness. Taste is slighty sour; but a crisp and very delicious hoppy bitterness. Medium bodied, with a rather fizzy carbonation. Good stuff

Bottle to tulip. Aromas of tart cotton candy, tropical fruit and yeasty funk. Hazy honeycomb with minimal white head that quickly leaves only a bubbly ring. Flavor is tropical juice. Tart. Moderate bitterness. Sour acts more like a spike of off-flavor than balancing the other aspects.

Bottle - thanks to Niller for this present :) - pours fuzzy golden orange with a good sized white head. Aroma and taste is a medley of tropical and citrus fruits, zesty lemon and grapefruit, prominent hoppy, medium to light sourness, funky, drinks so well. Beautiful.

Light golden pour with a slight haze. Massive, frothy off-white head, stuck around with cascading lace. Very sharp aroma, citrus, sweet celery, funky hops, some pine. A broadened array of fruit hit the tongue, sour apples, unripened peaches, mandarin, tart banana with random barnyard/straw appearances. It was like a medley of fruit in my mouth yet well balanced. Nice crisp finish. Bravo!
