‘Merica is a single malt, single hop farmhouse ale. It’s brewed with floor malted pilsner and 3lbs per bbl Nelson Sauvin hops. The beer is conditioned with 2 brett strains and wine yeast. The Nelson hops provide white wine flavors while Brettanomyces add a juicy quality to the beer.

Bottle from Vinmonopolet, Kvadrat. Pours hazy golen with a big long lasting creamy white head. Nice farmhouse and yeasty aromas, noticeable Brett and lemonish hops. Crisp and juicy fruity with saison yeast and light farmhouse, long weak funky finish.

Hazy yellow beer, head is thick and fluffy. Some lacing sticks to the glass. Aroma has sourness, green apples and yeast. Taste has quite interesting stuff, some lactose / milk, sour apple and pineapple! Medium body and really high carbonation. Taste was really interesting but the carbonation was way off the charts.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines; cloudy yellow pour with a big soapy white head, glorious aroma of light funk, citrus and wet grass, taste has some spice, juicy tropical fruits, bitter grapefruit, funk is funky, orange, some yeast action, white grapes, brett is present, an achievement.

Pale cloudy, aroma is lightly floral, maybe chamomile or even going in a rosewater direction. So pretty much not ’Merica. Softness, with a light fluffy floral character, and a hit of honeyish sweet malts.

Small sample from bottle, at a 4th of July tasting. Nice farmhouse kitchen / brett and Nelson Sauvin character in both aroma and flavour. Might well sample again.

Bottle. Pours hazy straw yellow, with an enormous creamy head. Aroma is earthy with bretty vegetable notes, as well as pepper, gooseberries, grapes, lime and yuzu, and tart wooden yeast and malty notes of biscuits. Light to medium body, with soft carbonation. Flavour is peppery herbal hops, gooseberries, citrusy notes with lemon and yuzu, as well as tart yeasty notes of wooden barrels and white wine grapes. Funky, earthy finish. A strange one to be sure.

On bottle from Ølbutikken , Copenhagen. Hazy pale golden color, good foam and carbonation. Medium/ high aroma intensity; funky, citrus and some fruitiness along with notes from the stable. Medium body & complexity. Good sourness, balances well. Very enjoyable ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours murky hazy dark yellow with an off white head. Aroma has lots of funk, ruralness, pear, dryness, ripe apples and elderflower. The taste is rural and dry. Soome bready notes, apples and some barnyard. Pretty good but not a beauty-queen.
