Bottle. Hazy yellow with a large frothy white head. Funky nose, dust, light fruit. The flavour is more fruity up front; fruit stack, light sweet tropical fruits like peach and persimmon, perhaps a bit of blackcurrant as well. Some barnyard/band aid, oak, hay, dust/mold. Medium body, oily texture, medium sweet and light bitter. Feels generic and muddled and doesn’t really stand out.

Aroma has soapy notes and tropical fruits. Also fruit juice. Flavour has strong soapiness, urinal cake, fruit juice and citrus. Somewhat unusual, mixture of APA and bretta-saison.

Bottle- pours opaque yeast lemon. Nose is funky barnyard farmhouse yogurt. Some lemon notes. Nice carbonation. Flavor has barnyard funky tartness though subtle. Pilsner malt crispness. Medium bodied. Nice drinkable funky beer ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

500mL poured into a vintage pineapple glass -- typical prairie saison pour, excessive foam, funky aroma, hops. This beer is almost exactly in between their Funky Gold series and their Standard saison. I thoroughly enjoy this.

Huge white head. Hazy gray toned gold pour. Little bit of lacing. Sulphury funky lemon nose. Tart lemon taste. Some peppery notes. And the egg bomb from the scent.

The beer pours a slightly hazy golden with a large, long-lasting white head; once the yeast finds its way into the glass, it becomes murky with white highlights. The aroma is heavily grassy but also has strong currents of apricot, funk, pilsner malt, and white pepper. The taste has a lot of grassy (almost piney) hop flavor with only a slight kiss of bitterness on the front of the tongue, and a mild softness and slight sweetness--via yeasty funk and fruity esters of apricot and orange--round out the taste to place everything in balance. Even though there is a lot to the flavor, the lively carbonation lifts those flavors off the tongue, producing an earthy and slightly spicy aftertaste. The medium body supports all these elements well, and the slick texture makes this beer as easy drinking as it is.
