‘Merica is a single malt, single hop farmhouse ale. It’s brewed with floor malted pilsner and 3lbs per bbl Nelson Sauvin hops. The beer is conditioned with 2 brett strains and wine yeast. The Nelson hops provide white wine flavors while Brettanomyces add a juicy quality to the beer.

50 cl bottle @ home. Pours hazy yellow with a lot of sediment and a white head that leaves some lacing. Aroma and flavour are lemons, funk, flowers, and spices - with a dry finish.

Pours a hazy, milky yellow with a thick white head. Aroma of grassy, earthy notes, wheat, white grapes, citrus and funk. Taste follows, earthy with a great hoppy punch. Really solid saison with that Nelson punch.

(500ml bottle @ VilleValla Pub, Linköping, June 4 2015) Pours hazy gold with big pillowy white head that stays forever with lace. Aroma pungent gooseberry and catty Nelson sauvin, juicy and tart with lots of citrus peel and pith and some passion fruit below. Funky horse blanket and vaguely earthy Brett quite prominent. Taste isn’t as juicy but does echo most of the flavours, tart at first with a decent amount of grapefruit rind in there, grassy and slightly floral. Becomes more pithy and dry from the middle with a bunch of dry grass, pretty big Brett funk, and grain. Much more fruity with peach appearing in the finish when lees are added. More rounded then. Medium bitter finish. Average body and carb. The juicy fruity nose on this beer is really lovely and plays nicely with the big Bretty earthy undertones. Wish the taste was quite as stellar though the lees helped, still a really nice funky farmhouse.

Bottle shared by Bvery...thanks man! Cloudy blonde pour. Strong tart citrus aroma. Taste has more hops with bitter finish. Good brew but a little too much bitter for me.

Bottle. Hop Hideout, Sheffield. Hazy, dark yellow. Halo of dense, white head. Beautiful, grapey, yeasty, lemon hop. Sweet, toasty malts. Some vanilla ice cream. Aroma is stunning. Taste is soft sweet. Light dry. Turns clean, fruity, vinous bitter. Soft, massaging, airy palate. Finishes light bitter, and leaves sticky lips. Delightful.
