Amazing beer. Loved the bourbon oak flavors and smells. Vanilla in there too. Dark brown pour nice head and lacing. A little sweet. Rich and delicious. I wish I’d factored in the 13%. I need a nap

Pianka niewielka, sycząca, szybko opada do zera. Barwa brązowa, opalizująca. Aromat cudownie waniliowy, dębowy, karmelowy, daktylowy, toffi... W smaku słodkie, poza wszystkim co w zapachu dochodzi melasa, brązowy cukier, rodzynki, likier waniliowy i posmaki whiskey. Goryczka niska do średniej, tytoniowo ziołowa.

Aroma or raisins and dates, along with maybe some rum. Brown body with a small off white head. The raisins and dates made another appearance in the flavor, along with some woodiness and a good dose of alcohol. It was stronger than I anticipated but still tasty.

Aromat: wyraźne nuty beczkowe i alkoholowe whisky, które właściwie "ustawiają" całe piwo. W tle dopiero karmel, orzech, chleb, melano. Nuty whisky, wanilii, beczki, zdecydowanie wyczuwalne. Goryczka łagodna i przyjemna, nie przeszkadza. Krągła do tęgiej pełnia, niskie do umiarkowanego wysycenie i słodowo- alkoholowy finisz, wyraźnie ogrzewający przełyk. Nieźle.

Bottle (ujh). Dark brown, not much carbonation. Whiskyesque nose, vanilla, sweet malty, some dark sugaryness on nose. Med full bodied, quite easy, drinkable for the high abv. Long flavour, vanilla oak, bourbony, dark bready malty, sweetness. Nice, clean, flavourful. Doesnt amaze me though, could have expected mor efrom this brewery at these abvs..

Aroma - dark carmelized sugar, dark fruit, molasses, and some chocolate. Appearance - the body is a bistre brown, with an off-white head around 1/4", that fades quickly. Taste - has a rich mix of prune, caramelized sugar, roast, molasses, and some faint chocolate. Palate - full bodied, texture is slick, carbonation is average, and the finish has alcohol and some sweet astringency.

UPDATED: JUN 9, 2016 Bottle in wine glass. This brew is a bit boozy, which doesn?t have to be a bad thing. On the proper temperature ist enhances the oaked notes as well as the brown malt characters. This would have had a better rating if the hops had played out differently. Feels like it isn?t making friends with the rest of the drinks and ends up wandering off alone, different than the rest of the pack.

Bottle. Dark brown pour, with a light tan head. Sweet, malty, toffee, fruit, somewhat nutty, roast, alcohol, and strong whiskey flavor. Decent.
