Amazing beer. Loved the bourbon oak flavors and smells. Vanilla in there too. Dark brown pour nice head and lacing. A little sweet. Rich and delicious. I wish I’d factored in the 13%. I need a nap

12 oz. bottle that indicates 12% abv. Big nose of toasted cereal, raisin, booze and chocolate. Lightly hazy copper-brown body has a ring and an island of thin creamy foam. Tastes of raisin, dry cocoa, dark cherry, butterscotch cornflake cookies and vanilla. Lingering finish has some oak and dry grass with touches of tobacco and soy sauce to dry things a bit. Heavy body has a smooth medium carbonation and a nice balance. The 12% is pretty well hidden.

Pours dark brown with a beige head. The aroma has heavy nuttiness, toasted malt, bourbon, brown sugar, alcohol, toffee and overall big richness. It has a medium / thick chewy body with some soft carbonation. The flavor starts with walnuts, heavy toast, oak, vanilla, candy sugar and some mild earthy hops. The finish has bourbon, vanilla, oak and massive walnuts. Excellent beer.
