Pirate bomb is our beer Prairie Bomb! aged in rum casks. The flavor from the casks helps impart more vanilla and coconut flavors to the beer while helping to add more body and smoothness to the already explosive and expressive flavors of Bomb!

Poured a deep dark brown with almost no head. Aromas of wood, tons of coffee, vanilla, and caramel. Flavor had coffee, hints of booze, wood, caramel, vanilla, and chocolate. A little pepper heat and bite to it after each swallow. Full body, oily texture, decent carbonation, and a very nice finish with mild alcohol burn mixing with the pepper bite. I enjoyed this one quite a bit.

Bottle shared at a tasting at Guinn’s house thanks to Casey. Pours dark brown to black and is very similar to the normal Bomb! Rum barrel is evident and works well with this one. Really nice beer. This is my favorite of the varieties of this.

Bottle shared with Souberd, thanks! Black poor, brown lasting foam head. Vanilla aroma, not overwhelming but there. On initial tasting strong wood taste, turning light bitter, coco tones. (Velp 201506)

[Draught at Brewberry Bar, Paris, May 19] 20th rating of my Paris/Amsterdam trip. Listed as 15.9%. Pours black with a small lasting creamy tan head. Some lacing. Awesome aroma of roasted malt, dark chocolate, dark fruit, light chilis, coffee, vanilla, coconut, soy sauce and more. Flavour of roasted malt, coffee, dark fruit, tons of chocolate, light chili, a good amount of hops, some alcohol (but not 10%), vanilla and more. Big bitter finish. Medium bodied. A damn awesome sipper, I loved it.

Flaska. Kolsvart med ett lättare beige skum. Doft lagrad rom, kaffe, trä, vanilj och karamell. I smaken tillkommer chilihettan. Den är dock Bränner till i eftersmaken parat med sälta. Stor kropp. Oljig munkänsla. ganska balanserad och grundölen är stark nog att bära den.

Tap at CBC Brixton. Pours dark brown with a very thin tan head. Aroma is medicinal, with vanilla, choc and coffee. Medium to full body with light carbonation. Sherry, vanilla, choc, cream soda, lots of dark fruit, raisins, rum, coke... Lovely balance, very smooth. Impressive. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Incredibly heavy coffee and dark chocolate aroma and flavor. Easy to drink and no traces of alcohol in the flavor or fragrance. A little vanilla beers still in a very good way. This beer really has a perfect balance of what I think is the perfect imperial stout. Perfect bitterness that fills the mouth forever. I series uses the very ideal but this is a perfect beer under me. The second time I hand out maximum points for a beer. Follow me @ Kung av öl @ Facebook for more pictures and ratings.

Varmende chili i avslutningen setter prikken over i’en. Så godt at det er rett før tårene spretter.

Tasted from bottle. Pours black with tan head. Great lacing. Chocolate and coffee aroma. Taste is big time chocolate. Some coffee and a little caramel but mostly dark chocolate on the flavor. Very smooth and well balanced. Mild bitterness and mild to moderate sweetness. Hides the high ABV incredibly well. Excellent imperial stout. One of my favorites. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
